VAN
OLM,
Adriana
J.
It is with deep respect that we announce the passing of Mrs.
Adriana
(Pop)
J.
VAN
OLM on January 20, 2005 at the age of 81.
She passed away peacefully and with great dignity at her home
in Calgary surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Amsterdam on
November 12, 1923, she and her children moved to Canada permanently
in 1973. She was ever so young at heart and clear of mind despite
the suffering she experienced in her latter years. She continued
to make the most of every day and was a great support to all
who were in touch with her until the moment of her passing making
her sudden decline somewhat unexpected.
She will always be remembered as a great mother, grandmother,
confidante and friend. She will be greatly missed by her three
children, Matt
VAN
OLM, John
VAN
OLM and Carina van Olm
BROWN
and their spouses, Jeanette
SORIANO and John
BROWN; her grandchildren
Dominique and Alexander, Alex and Houston, Michael and Mitra
as well as Petra, Olivia, Dexter, Mary Ann, Matt, Mabel, Maxwell,
Crystal, Nadine, and in her native Amsterdam Alma
KUIPER who
was as a second daughter to her. She will also be fondly remembered
by Mrs. P. C.
KUIPER and Kees and Nelleke
VAN
LINSCHOTEN of the
Netherlands. The family wishes to extend special thanks for the
compassionate care, love and respect she was shown by her personal
caregiver and dear friend Asrat and to her physician Dr. Hans
BERKHOUT for his considerate care and treatment. In accordance
with her wishes, a private cremation and memorial was held on
January 23 in Calgary.
