KERTON, Robert Albert
Born December 15, 1915 in London, Ontario. Founder and long time owner of "Robert Kerton Printing", Ajax, passed away peacefully at his residence in Cambridge on Saturday, May 14, 2005, in his 90th year. Bob, beloved husband of Marjorie HARRIS. Loving father of Robert and his wife Bari (of Waterloo), Nancy and her husband Eric O'HIGGINS (of British Columbia,) Elizabeth and her husband Vince MARIGLIA (of Ajax,) Shirley IMAIZUMI and Court ELLIOT/ELLIOTT (of Toronto). Grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Nancy KERTON. Also predeceased by his first wife Reita (née ROBBINS,) second wife Margaret, his brother Jack and sister Hilda. Very involved and very proud of both his family and his business, he was an Elder of St. Paul's United Church, Ajax, and a proud recipient of the Paul Harris Award of the Rotary Club. The family will receive Friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 p.m.. Interment Erskine Cemetery. Should Friends so desire, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.

O'HIGGINS, Sheila Treasa (née McGAHAN)
Following a brief and courageous battle with Leukemia, Sheila, surrounded by her family, passed away on the 21st of June, 2005 at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. A native of Dublin, Ireland, and a resident of Ottawa, Sheila is survived by her sister, Sister Ina, her daughter, Ite, and by her sons Colm and Dara and his wife Andrea. In her eighty-ninth year, Sheila will be missed by her grandchildren, Cathleen, Cara, Declan, Brendan, Liam, Sheena, and by Caroline, Graham and family including great-grand_son Colter. Sheila's nieces and nephews of the Martin family, Mel, Fiona, Nesa and Ludu and their families who comforted Sheila continuously during her illness, are gratefully thanked. Special mention to Chris CLEARY in Dublin and to the Bradys in Toronto. Happily rejoining her travelling companion and sister Fionnuala MARTIN, niece Aoife MARTIN and her husband Lorcan (all deceased.) Sheila will be missed by her 3 closest Friends Bea, Doris and Marion, along with the residents of Crystal Lodge, Ottawa. Your life is a beautiful memory, Your death is a silent grief, You sleep in God's beautiful garden In sunshine of perfect peace We miss you, oh how much, But realize God knew best He let us have you for many years, Then gently bade you rest. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Rd., Kanata, Thursday, June 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday, June 24, to Our Lady of Fatima Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 1 p.m. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens. In memoriam, donations may be made to the cancer research institute of your choice.
