Beloved husband for 48 years of the late Norah (nee O'BEIRNE) GRAY/GREY. Much loved father of Coleen HRENO (George) of Mississauga and Laura GRAY/GREY (Pete DUGGAN) of Flamborough. Very special uncle of Anne CLAYDEN (Neil GRADDON) of Candiac, Québec. Cherished Pop of Brendan, Heather, Sean, Trevor, and Jeffrey. Dearest brother of Winnifred STARK of Burlington. Predeceased by his sister Mena BURROWS. Loved by his nieces and nephews. Passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, November 28th, 2005, in his 89th year. Loving husband of the late Luella (OBENHACK.) Dear brother of James WELLS of Owen Sound and Catherine OEHM of Chesley. Brother-in-law of Herb OBENHACK. Alex is fondly remembered by his nephews: Brad WELLS and his wife Stasia, Robert SCHLORFF and his wife Jean, and Larry SCHLORFF and his wife Bernie and their families. Dear friend of Clare MacINNES. Predeceased by his brother Bill WELLS. Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Wednesday from 2: 30 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 308 will hold a memorial service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 6: 45 p.m. A Celebration of Life for Alex WELLS will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Trinity Anglican Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to Durham Medical Clinic or Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at William Osler Hospital, Brampton, on Friday, November 4, 2005, in his 77th year. Steve was born May 15, 1928, in Winnipeg. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary 22 years ago. Beloved father of Gary and Donna. He is survived by his brother Nick and wife Geri, sister Betty and husband Marcel, brother-in-law John PIETRUS and wife Anne, sister-in-law Penny, and by many nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.S.A. In addition to his parents, brothers Sam, Frank, Joe, Tom and sister Kay preceded him in death. Family and close Friends are invited to join together at Riverside Cemetery (1567 Royal York Rd.) for the burial of cremated remains on Thursday at 11: 30 a.m. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Proud grandfather of Jason and Stewart (Amanda) MacNAMARA, Robbie (Dolly) REEVE and Pamela REEVE. Great-grandfather of Daniel and Hunter MacNAMARA, and Taylor and Ella REEVE. Survived by brothers George, Chuck, Norm, Don and sister Edna WEST. Predeceased by brothers Bill, John, Howie and sister Joan WILLIAMSON. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Elizabeth BROMBERG, née OBERHAND: Leah Chaya bat Naphtali v'Rachel. Our Sapta was a loving wife to Avraham BROMBERG (deceased,) and sister to Regina BALABAN, Chaim OBERHAND (deceased) and Moshe OBERHAND (deceased.) Sapta was the beloved mother of Bronia FIALKOV (Gershon,) Nathan BROMBERG-deceased (Yona) and Dora DAVIS (Milosh-deceased.) Adored Grandmother of Eynat (deceased), Harry, Doron, Leonard, Michelle, Helene, Jeff, Marty and Sharon. Cherished Great-Grandmother of Josh, Benjamin, Shanyn, Carly, Corey, Ryan, Rachel, Avi, Lexi, Amanda, Ari and Avery. Our Sapta was a pillar of strength. Not only did she provide for her family, she saved them during one of the darkest times in history- the holocaust. She was the nucleus of our family. We will always remember her beautiful Yom Tovim, her warm heart and her soothing smile, not to mention her scrumptious pletzlach and her incredible cholent.
