She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Longtime
member of the Catholic Women's League and the Ladies Auxiliary
of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 55 and dedicated volunteer
with Operation Sharing. Friends will be received at St. Rita's
Catholic Church, 904 Dundas Street, Woodstock, on Thursday, 2-4
and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at the church on Thursday evening
at 7: 00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Rita's Catholic Church on Friday,
January 7, 2005 at 10: 00 am. Interment at Saint Mary's Catholic
Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation of Ontario, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or
the Woodstock Hospital Foundation -- Building Fund would be appreciated
and may be arranged through the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 537-3611

Grand Bend, Ontario, surrounded by his loving family, went to
be with the Lord on Monday, December 19, 2005 at South Huron
Hospital, Exeter, Ontario. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia he was
the son of the late Charles Alexander
OAKLEY and Elsie
WAMBOLT)
OAKLEY. He was held membership in the Bricklayers and Allied
Craftworkers International Union of America for 50 consecutive
years. He was presented with his gold card in 2003. Surviving
is his wife
