Age 88. On January 14, 2005, after a valiant struggle with a
lengthy illness, Mary passed away in Toronto Western Hospital
with family by her side. Mary is predeceased by her loving husband,
Paul and by her children Helen and William. Beloved mother of
Grace (Toronto), Shirley (Bruce Mines, Ontario) and Donald. Grandmother
of Tracey (John), Shelayne (Scott), Beth (Les), and DeAnne (Andrew).
Great-grandmother of Tyler, Dylan, Coleman, and Elizabeth Ann.
Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Anne,
Rose, Olive, Mike, Bill and John. As a wife and grandmother,
she was a source of strength and dignity to us all. Her concern
and caring continued to her last breath. Her journey now is to
join those who went before her, where she can forever breathe
easily and walk freely in the light of God's grace and love.
Special thanks to the staff at Kensington Gardens North and Toronto
Western Hospital E.R. and 8A for their care. Cremation. Memorial
Services will be held in Bruce Mines, Ontario in the spring and
at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, Toronto (416-928-2355). Dates
and times to be announced. If desired, donations may be made
to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (www.madd.ca), the Parkinson
Society Canada (www.parkinson.ca) or the Alzheimer Society (www.asmt.org).
