Passed away peacefully at Toronto Grace Hospital on Sunday, June
12, 2005. She will be sadly missed by son Stephen, daughters
Sheila, Krisztina, and their families. Grandmother to Stephen,
Les, Laura and Christopher, and Great-Grandmother to Sabrina,
Julia, Rachel and Keegan. Iren was the owner and publisher of
the Kanadai Magyarsag newspaper, and a prominent and much loved
member of the Hungarian community. The Family wishes to express
their thanks to the 4th floor staff of Toronto Grace Hospital
for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
that donations be made to the Diabetic Society, or the Salvation
Army. Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter, Butler Chapel
4933 Dundas Street West (between Islington and Kipling Ave's) on
Wednesday, June 15th from 2: 00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00
p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. Prayers will be held in the funeral home at
7: 30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 16th
at 10: 30 a.m. at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 432 Sheppard
Ave East, and Bayview. Cremation to follow.
