(Note Change of Place of Service). Peacefully at University Hospital, on Tuesday, November 1st, 2005, Lillian May POLCI in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. POLCI. Loving mother of Cheryl (HARNUM) POLCI of Port Rexton, Newfoundland, Daniel, Gary and his loving wife Faye, Robert and wife Sue POLCI all of London. Beloved Grandmother of Shirley SMITH of Woodstock, Kim NURSE of Port Rexton, Newfoundland, Shawn, Jason and Justin POLCI all of London. Great-grandmother of Holly and Andrew NURSE of Newfoundland and Erick and Sabrina SMITH of Woodstock. Predeceased by her grand_son Stewart MacINTIRE. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (one block east of Egerton St.) on Friday, November 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Grace United Church, 818 Hamilton Rd. on November 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. Peacefully, at Rideaucrest Home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, in her 91st year. Patricia NURSE (née GAUL,) beloved wife of the late Edward P. NURSE. Loving mother of Ted and Judy NURSE of Kingston, Judith and Bob DUFFY of San Francisco, and Mike and Dianne NURSE of Toronto. Special grandmother to Rebecca, Jennifer, Tony, Amelia and Ryan, and great-grandmother to Hailli, Brialyn and Ezekiel. Predeceased by her four sisters and brother. Fondly remembered by three sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston on Monday, February 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Kingston or Rideaucrest Home, both at 175 Rideau Street, Kingston, Ontario, K7K 3H6, would be appreciated by the family. Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4th, 2005. Beloved widow of the late Reverend Harold JACKMAN and mother of Aaron GILL, Lorraine SANDY, Liza GILL- GIBBS, Jocelyn HAMILTON (née LOPEZ Carl), Phyllisia LEACOCK (née LOPEZ Trevor), Maria CAPRIETTA, Patricia JACKMAN- ELLIS, Glenda BRUCE, Reverend Jacqueline COLLINS, Llewelyn JACKMAN, Ruth GLASGOW, Ann EMMANUEL, Kenny JACKMAN, Jennifer GRIMES- JACKMAN, Cheryl MOSES, Wendy MORRIS. She will be greatly missed by her 49 grandchildren and her 31 great-grandchildren. Mrs. JACKMAN will also be missed by her sisters Florence NURSE and Monica DUNCAN, and her brothers Reginald BASCOMBE, Alphonso BASCOMBE and George DECOTEAU. Mrs. JACKMAN has family from Trinidad, and throughout the West Indies and the United States. They are coming to Toronto for the funeral. Visitation will be held at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.) on Thursday, February 10 from 7-9 p.m. and also on Friday, February 11 from 5-9 p.m. The funeral will be held at Riverside Missionary Church located at 456 King St. E. on Saturday, February 12th at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

In Ottawa, after a brief illness, during an ongoing battle with cancer, Ellen ALLARD (née KENDALL) passed away Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in her 86th year. She is survived by her son Jim (Judy) of Regina, Saskatchewan., daughters Jeannette (Frank MELL) of Munster and Marilyn (Pat NURSE) of Stittsville. Dear sister of Stan KENDALL of Ottawa, Bob KENDALL of Winnipeg and Margaret of Ajax, Ontario. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Bryan, Ellen, Dean, Dawn and Dorian and by many great-grandchildren. Peacefully, in her 80th year with her family by her side at the Credit Valley Hospital, on December 17, 2005, following a valiant battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her loving sister Gloria NURSE and caring brother Wilfred NURSE and two generations of nephews and nieces whose lives were blessed by her devoted presence. Friends will be received at the Neweduk Funeral Home - "Mississauga Chapel" 1981 Dundas St. W., (1 block east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday.
