PEMBERTON,
Cliff
Hudson
Passed away on May 21, 2005, at Credit Valley Hospital in his
80th year. While cancer clouded his final months, he had enjoyed
good health until this year. A Veteran of World War 2, he fought
with the Princess Pats in Italy and served as a medic with the
same regiment in Belgium and Holland. Although he was too sick
to watch the recent VE Day celebrations, his days in Holland
after the war were some of his best, and he kept a Friendship
with the Odink family, whom he met there, for 60 years. Cliff
spent the first half of his life in Montreal and the second in
Mississauga.
His final job was as an accountant at
NTN
Bearing
in Meadowvale. Previously he had worked at Consumers Glass in
both Montreal and Etobicoke. He will be missed and remembered
by his wife Rose, his sons Gary and Steve, his daughters-in-law
Josie and Kathy, and his granddaughter Star. Visitation is on
Tuesday, May 24 at 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home,
420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga. The funeral will be held
at 11 a.m. on May 25.
