CLARKE,
Bill "
William"
Passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the age
of 75 years. He is sadly missed by his family, Bill, Kim and
Ryo, Ian and his wife Anne, and Richard and Anne and his grand_son
Bradley. Bill worked at the Toronto Star as a pressman for 25
years before taking early retirement in 1994. He made Friends
wherever he went and always had a new joke to tell to those who
would listen. Always an advocate of keeping in shape, he made
Strictly Fitness Gym his second home where we would joke he was
their "Ambassador". We know that he appreciated everyone's Friendship
and kindness at the gym, particularly over the past few months.
The family wishes to thank all those who have given their support
over the last few days. Special thanks to the staff at North
York
General
Hospital, especially 4N and Dr.
NOAKES who helped
him with his recent battle with cancer. Condolences may be made
at william2202@hotmail.com. If desired, donations to the Toronto
Star Santa Claus Fund, www.thestar.com/santaclausfund would be
appreciated by the family in his memory.
