It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Manny on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Maria NER. Loving Dad of Emmanuel (Alina,) Arnold, Richard (Fe) and Jennifer (Dario). Cherished grandfather of Joshua, David, Christopher and Tyler. Family and Friends will be received at the Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd. (416-423-1000), on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 from 1-4 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Princess Margaret Hospital or Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.

THORNLEY, Jean
Jean THORNLEY passed away at the age of 85, on July 26, 2005, at University Hospital, London. She was the loving mother of Susan YOUNG of Aurora, and Andrew THORNLEY of London, and cherished grandmother of Lori YOUNG of Keswick. Dear sister of Clara NERDEN of Scarborough and Doris FRASER of Toronto. She is predeceased by her husband Lorne, brothers Ray and Royal, and by her sisters Beverley and Mavis. She is lovingly remembered by her best friend Mildred SAVAGE and by her many nieces, nephews and Friends. Jean was an original member of the Wilmar Heights United Church and United Church Women. Jean filled her life with her family, Friends and children, gardening and cooking, and was a loving wife, caring mother, very special Gram, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend. A Memorial service will be held at Wexford United Church, 2102 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, on Friday, July 29th, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society or your local Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will be appreciated.

75 years, on August 19, 2005 at Scarborough Hospital - Grace Division, Toronto. Daughter of the late Agatha and Stanley (Stanislaw) LEWANDOWSKI of Windsor. Predeceased by her loving husband, Daniel NERENBERG. Beloved mother of David and his wife Nina, Kathy and Michael. Beloved Bubcia to Amanda, Danielle and Fred. Sister to the late Ted LEWANDOWSKI, the late Mary PALENIK, Celia KEMPA, the late Mitchell LEWANDOWSKI, Marion LEWANDOWSKI and the late Stanley LEWANDOWSKI. She will be missed by the cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues and Friends whose lives she touched. Friends may call on Monday, August 22, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 23, 2005 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the R.S. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Settimia NERI on Friday, December 23, 2005 with her loving family by her side at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga Site, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni (2002). Cherished mother of Dino and his wife Sherry and of Gina MANSUETO and her husband Mike. Devoted Nonna of her six grandchildren John, Michael, Matthew, Sara, Alexander and Nicholas. Dear sister of Ida and the late Giuseppe PICCIONI, Rosa and the late Francesco TICCHIARELLI, Ermoli and Angeladea PICCIONI, and Elisa and Cenzo LATINI. Predeceased by siblings Luigi and Livia PICCIONI, Paolo PICCIONI, Gennaro and Felicia PICCIONI, Maria and Atillio DEZI, and Irma and Silvio PETTINARI. Sister-in-law to Francesco NERI, Teresa PICCIONI, Ida and the late Guido DIGIACINTO, Antonio and Serafina NERI, Vincenzo and Domenica NERI, and Caterina and the late Gino FEDELI. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Settimia retired in 1987 from Consumers Glass after 30 years of service. Beloved wife of the late Laurance Earl McCALLUM (1960.) Loved mother of Dorothy and her husband Bob LINTON of Highlands I, R.R.#1 Dashwood, and mother-in-law of Stella McCALLUM of Sherwood Park, Alberta and Marilynn McCALLUM of Calgary, Alberta. Dear sister of Edith NERO and her husband Ivan, Ken LESLIE and his late wife Dorothy, Al LESLIE and his wife Marion all of Woodstock and Audrey LLOYD and her husband Graham of Henderson, Nevada. Also survived by her sister-in-law Elaine BEACH and her late husband George of Toronto and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Kay START and her husband George.
