Cecil served with the Royal Canadian Navy during World War 2, was a life member of the King Hiram Masonic Lodge #37, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, Ingersoll, the Oxford County Naval Veterans Assoc., the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #495 Beachville and was a member of the Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club. Mrs. Estelle NADON (née TURFORD) at the Versa Care Centre, Cornwall, on Saturday, January 15, 2005, at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of Maurice Joseph NADON. Dear sister of Jack TURFORD (Nita) and Ted TURFORD (Marian) both of Stratford; Edith SAVELLE (late Harry) of Whitby. Dear sister-in-law of Claudette LECLAIR (Bernie LEROUX) of Cornwall and Lise VERDON of Orleans. Special aunt to Renelle and Dale SEGUIN of Cornwall. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers William TURFORD and Lorne TURFORD and by one sister Sybil HOLMES. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall from 9 a.m. Thursday, January 20th. (Funeral Services will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home, on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 10: 00 a.m.) The Venerable Ross MOULTON of Trinity Anglican Church celebrant. Committal to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall. After a very brief illness, passed away quietly at Lakeridge Health Corp., Oshawa, with family at his side, on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Colleen ROBB for 46 years. Loving Dad of Diana and her husband Dan VAILLANCOURT, Wendy and her husband Ray NADON, Kelly and her husband Steve KEENAN, Martin ROBB and Kevin ROBB. Cherished Granpa of Mark, Amy, Andrew and Karly. David has gone to join his great-grandchildren Skyler, Colton and Blake, already in Heaven. Brother and best friend of Don and Marlene ROBB, Chris and Jennifer ROBB, Patty and Gino FERRARI. Brother-in-law of Betty and VAN VANDERBEEK, Donna and Brian DAVIS and the late Louise MITCHELL. David will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Cadillac Raceway buddies and many Friends who touched his life. A service will be held at the McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 2: 30 p.m. Memorial donations in memory of David made to Hearth Place (Cancer Support Centre) would be appreciated. CHALMERS, Evelyn Frances (née HEIDAHL)
(July 2, 1913-July 28, 2005)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn in Ottawa, widow of loving husband Frederick William CHALMERS.
For more than 90 years her life shone like a beacon as an inspiration to family and Friends alike. She was strong, yet sweet, gentle and generous. Her mind was as clear as her North Sea blue eyes. Her warmth, intelligence and flashing wit were the essence of her personality.
She was kind. Throughout her life, she devoted herself to service to others through membership in the Lady Aberdeen League in Edmonton, church groups and Goodwill in Toronto. Her greatest energies over the years were always focused on her family.
She is survived and mourned by her children, Dennis and Kate CHALMERS, Frances (Lassie) and Howie WILSON, Barb and Joe IZZIO her grandchildren, Heather and Glen KELLY, Holly CHALMERS, Gordon CHALMERS, Patricia WILSON and Christopher MALLORY, Stewart WILSON and Shannon FYNN, Andrew WILSON and Céline NADREAU, Peter and Sally IZZIO, Carol IZZIO and Glen ROWLAND, and Siobhan IZZIO sixteen great-grandchildren; her sister Norah GOOD; brother-in-law Bob BAXTER; sisters-in-law Dorothy CHALMERS and Win CHALMERS cousins Karen and Don OGSTON; special Friends Lorne LEIGHTON, Elinor MURPHY, and Paul and Christine CLARK.
Dennis said "I hope that Lass, Barb and I, our children and grandchildren, all have the good fortune to live the remainder of our lives with the wit, courage, grace and good nature that Mother demonstrated so admirably."
A family celebration of her life will be held in the fall.

Beloved wife of Jan NADZIKOWSKI, of Southampton. Dear mother of Nicola and her husband Ray KERNAN of Nashua, New Hampshire and Angie and her husband Jack EADES of Bracebridge. Also survived by her sister, Betty and her husband John NEIL of Scotland. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jane, Russel, Jay and Michael.
