MIZBAH, Dr. Geoffrey
On Thursday, June 30, 2005, at his home at the age of 83. He took his undergraduate medical training at University of Liverpool, Faculty of Medicine and his surgical training at the same university and in London, obtaining his F.R.C.S. (Eng.). He saw active service in Britain's Royal Army Medical Corps as surgeon, I/C field surgical team and I/C surgical division of British Military Hospital in Malaya. He immigrated to Canada in late 1953 to Saskatchewan and in 1956 moved to northern Ontario. He obtained his F.R.C.S. (Canada) and F.I.C.S. During his years in northern Ontario he took leave to do charity work for Canadian Executive Services Association as a surgeon to St. Kitts and Nevis and for British Methodist church in Nigeria as surgeon in Ilisha for his medical school compatriot Dr. Andrew Pearson. He is survived by his loving wife Hélène who has ably assisted him for 52 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his nephew Frank WIRTZ and family, his sister Elizabeth HILLIER- FRY and husband Norman of England. Interment has taken place in Oakville, Ontario.

Cartoonist, Wild Life Artist. Peacefully at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on Sunday, July 17, 2005, in his 50th year. Joseph, beloved son of the late Kathleen GEE of Delhi, Ontario. Survived by his loving wife Margie (MUNNOCH) of Orangeville, daughter Jessi (Toronto), sister Laurie, and father David of Thornhill. Many thanks to all our family for their love, to sister-in-law Nancy Munnoch GREEN, li'l sis Maxine WALSH and aunt Marilyn ZUERCHER (San Jose, California) for their support and caring. Beloved wife of the late Emil LEHR (1990) and dearly loved mother of Delores BUYE of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Loretta LEHR of St. Angus, Quebec, Sheila and her husband Bev MIZON of Saint Thomas, Janice and husband Adrianus VANDERMYDEN of Brooks, Alberta. Dear sister of Raymond WEISS and Rosie KRUGER both of Medicine Hat. Predeceased by a brother Emile WEISS and a sister Martha EHRET. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Amanda was born in Hilda, Alberta on November 8, 1917 the daughter of the late John K. and Rosena (JESKE) WEISS. She was a retired Nurses Aid and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Tuesday afternoon and then to Redeemer Lutheran Church where funeral service will be held at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre-Universi ty Campus on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, Albert MIZON of London passed away in his 92nd year. Husband of the late Frances Evelyn MIZON. Beloved father of Sandra BARNES and her husband Charles of London, Robert MIZON and his wife Sharon of White Rock, British Columbia and the late Kenneth MIZON. Loving daughter-in-law Winnifred MIZON of London. He leaves behind and will be missed by his grandchildren Geoff and Chris BARNES, Lori WEBSTER, Greg and Karen MIZON, Pam BARTLETT, Shawn, Brandon, Sarah and Kelsey MIZON and seven greatgrandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Ethel McLEOD of Paris, Ontario and Florence COOK of Brantford, Ontario. Predeceased by his sisters Beatrice CARD and Emily JEAVONS and a great-grand_son Jeremy. Dearly loved husband of Marilyn (MASSECAR) WILCOX and loved father of Bill Jr. and his wife Cheryl WILCOX of Union and Dawn and her husband Tim GALLOWAY of Port Stanley. Loved grandfather of Greg, Jeff, Riley and Jordan. Dear brother of Randy and his wife Wes WILCOX of Port Stanley, Darlene and her husband Gary KIRK of California and Lorri and her husband Brian MIZON of Saint Thomas. Sadly missed by a number of brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Bill was retired from Auto Haulaway and was a former associate member of Branch 410 of the Royal Canadian Legion, Port Stanley. Of Wallacetown (formerly of Port Stanley) on November 26, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, passing away in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Mary VANNATTER and lovingly remembered by his children Rebecca TAIT/TAITE/TATE, James VANNATTER, Wanda TUFF, Jason VANNATTER, Devin VANNATTER and Deanna MIZON, step-children Darlene FELDER, Darrell and Rob NOWAKOWSKI. He will be dearly missed by grandchildren Kim FRAMPTON (Tate), Jarrod TAIT/TAITE/TATE, Jordon VANNATTER, Brendan TUFF, Kyle FLINT- VANNATTER, Alexander and Amber-Jean VANNATTER, Keirhan and Ayzlynne MIZON and step-grandchildren Adreanna and Andrew FELDER. Survived by brother Bob VANNATTER and sisters Ann GAGG and Bonnie MILLS and brother of the late Philip VANNATTER and Sharon McINTYRE. Born on the 20th day of July 1938, son of the late Frances Marion and George William VANNATTER in Bayham Township. He resided for many years in Port Stanley and volunteered as a firefighter. Remarried in May of 2000 and resided in Saint Thomas for 3 years and then in Wallacetown until his death. A Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses: on Wednesday, November 30th, 2005 at 1: 30 p.m. Visitation at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Predeceased by her sister Mary (Ross) GARDINER, her brother Robert (Agnes) LINDSAY. Auntie Beth will be sadly missed by Ethel (Stan) SLEEMAN, Bill and Joan GARDINER, Doug GARDINER, Doreen McKAY, Ann and David LINDSAY. Great-aunt to Robert, Diane, Donna, Bryan, Heather and Jennifer. After a lengthy illness, George passed away on June 15, 2005, and is now at rest. Survived by his sister Anita (Colin) MAJOR, brother Robert (Bob,) sister Penny (David) MIZUGUCHI, brother Joseph (Joe) (Amber) and by sister-in-law Grace. George will be fondly remembered by 9 nieces and nephews, 19 great-nieces and nephews and many dear Friends. Predeceased by his parents Thomas, and Emele and by brother Thomas (Tom). The family would like to express a special thank you to George's medical support staff and counsellors at the Parkdale Community Health Centre. VALCHEFF (Susan TAN) of Burlington and Colleen VALCHEFF (David MORGAN) of Toronto. Henry's gentleness, knowledge and wit will be missed by his grandchildren, Coriann MIZZI, Ian MIZZI (Amanda,) Matthew VALCHEFF, Tyler VALCHEFF, Carly VALCHEFF and Kathleen MORGAN. Dear brother of John of Markham and Arthur (Pauline) of Port McNicoll and predeceased by his sister, Shirley SANGSTER. Born and raised in Port McNicoll, Ontario, Henry was a certified Great Lakes Captain and Pilot, and a longtime employee of the C.P.R., and Ontario Hydro, Niagara Region. He moved his family to Burlington in 1971 to take a position with Ontario Hydro, was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 60, Burlington, and served with the Merchant Marine.
