Died on November 18, 2005 at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital
after a brief illness, surrounded by her children and family
members. Binks was the daughter of Rina and Ray
MILNER of Edmonton,
Alberta and Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. She was predeceased
by her husband, Dr. Robert H.
MEWBURN.
She is survived by her
two children, Robert (Qualicum Beach) and Charity (Vancouver),
her beloved animals, and three generations of nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2005
at 2: 00 p.m. at Saint Mark's Anglican Church, Qualicum Beach, British
Columbia. Instead of flowers, donations may be sent in her memory
to your local branch of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty
to Animals.

Robert McCluney
Born Ballymena, Ireland August, 5th, 1925. One of ten children.
Immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia via Montreal 1928.
Migrated to Drumhellar, Alberta 1930. Stormed Stevensville, Ontario
in 1931. Graduated University of Toronto Class of 1950 Doctor
Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Opened Dentistry practice in Fort Erie
1950. Married "Mary" of the Ridgeway Stackhouse clan on the Ides
of March 1952. He left us November 20th, 2005 at H.G.H. from
the arms of his forever enduring, adoring and loving wife and
his two sons Michael and Rob that he frequently quoted "May not
look like much but they were great sport in the making'. He has
been honoured with 80 years of truly living life to the fullest.
A sparkling athlete he participated in Football, Hockey, Tennis,
Snow Skiing, Water Skiing and by poor judgment - Golf, where
he managed to make 8 hole-in-ones. He loved and felt fortunate
to have participated in his community, especially distributing
Halloween toothbrushes. He will be forever missed by his one
and only true love, Mary, son Rob, son Michael and Fran, and
devoted sister, and now unique, Martha

was his personal wish for no funeral and no services. In lieu

Health Centre Mississauga with her devoted husband Paul at her
side. Loving mother of Margaret Ann (Ronald

MEWHORT) of Kingston, Ontario,
and Paul (Pauline) of Ottawa. Devoted grandmother of Robin, Scott,
Heather, Emily, and William. From an early age, Fern had exceptional
talent in classical music. She won bronze (age 9) and gold (age
13) national medals in piano at the Canadian National Exhibition
and received her
ATCM at age 14. She financed her university
education in modern languages by teaching piano. Fern and Paul
were married December 6, 1941 and lived in Montreal and also
briefly Gander, Newfoundland. For the last half century they
have cherished their home in the Humber Valley region of Toronto.
Fern was a dedicated homemaker whose greatest pleasure was to
nurture her family in their interests and achievements. Friends
may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street
West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Thursday from
7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, December 2,
2005 at 1: 00 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation. If desired,
donations to the Osteoporosis Society of Canada would be appreciated
by the family.
