Loved aunt of Marie Meunier SOLOMON and her husband Howard of London. Beloved great-aunt of David and John SOLOMON of Toronto. Friends may call during the hour preceding the Memorial Service which will be celebrated at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond, on Monday, September 26 at 1: 00 p.m. by Father Jim MOCKLER. Cremation. MEUNIER, Bert (November 10, 1948-January 9, 2005)

With his family at his side, Bert passed away peacefully at his beloved farm in Elgin, Ontario. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Frankie and his cherished son Jamie (Jessica RILEY.) Dear brother of twin, Denis (Dolo) of Mont St. Hilaire, Québec, Ginette (Roch FORAND) of Granby, Québec and Daniel (Lisa) of Granby Québec. Much loved brother-in-law of Annie LEMONDE of Newton, Massachusetts and Chel LEMONDE and David McINTYRE of Framingham, Massachusetts. Sadly missed by nieces, Veronique and Jenna and nephews, Alexandre, Nicolas, Jeremy, Stephane, Michel and Jonathan. The family would like to thank their many Friends and his numerous colleagues for their incredible support through their actions and letters. Also, many thanks to the doctors and nurses on Kidd 6 and Connell 9 at Kingston General Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. Greg SCOTT and nurse Patty MEADOWS. His quiet wisdom and patient understanding touched the lives of many people. A celebration of his life will be held at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Saturday, January 15, 2005 from 12 noon until 5. All are welcome. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations directed towards cancer research to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre, 25 King Street West, Kingston, Ontario K7L 5P9 would be greatly appreciated by the family.

(Retired from Loblaws) Taken suddenly due to a stroke, at Scarborough Grace Hospital on Thursday, March 10, 2005 with her family by her side. Ellen WALKER of Cookstown, in her 70th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband William (Bill) WALKER. Cherished mother of Darren (Ingrid) SCHULTE, Barbara BORDA, and Mirjam (Lou) SIRIANNI. Oma of Krista, Michael, Thomas, Adam, Alexandra, David, Stefan and Lukas. Survived by her sister Eda. Predeceased by her grand_son Holger, her parents Franz and Hildegard MEURER and her sister Edith and brother Bernd. Ellen immigrated to Canada with her children from Germany in 1971. She instilled in all of us her courage and strength of conviction. Friends may call at Saint John's Anglican Church, Cookstown on Tuesday, March 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. Service in the church at 3 p.m. Spring interment Saint John's Anglican Cemetery, Cookstown. After a lengthy illness on Sunday, November 27th, 2005, at the Humber River Regional Hospital - Finch Site, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Wolfgang for 49 years. Loving mother of Michelle. Dear sister of Anneliese MEURER and Rosemarie ARNDT and sister-in-law of Trautchen and Egon SASSE. Margaret will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston on Thursday at 2: 30 p.m. with a gathering from 1: 30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Born in Boxmeer, The Netherlands on September 30, 1909, the daughter of the late Antoon and Marie DEBRUIN) HUTTEN. She came to Canada in 1963 and was a member of Our Lady Of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church. Beloved wife of the late Mathias VAN DYCK (1969.) Dear mother of Hans VAN DYCK of Holland, Gerard VAN DYCK and his wife Bonnie of London, Thea and her husband Martin VERKAART of Aylmer, Willy and her husband Cor MEURS of Aylmer and the late John VAN DYCK. Loved by her grandchildren Wendy, Rob, Marlene, Ruud, Dave, Barb, Monique and Dave. Fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Grandma to Taylor and Brenden MORROW. Also survived by daughter-in-law, Marlene MORROW, all of Kincardine. She is predeceased by her brother, Andrew MEUSER. Friends may call at the W. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Leslie DOWELL. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, December 16, 2005. He will be sadly missed by all. Jack was the beloved husband of Aida, father/ father-in-law of Steve and Reenie, Chris and Dave, Sandi and Greg, Michelle and Jeff, Judy and Jeff, Peter and Laleh, Paul and Jennifer. Loving grandfather of Eric, Cameron, Karleigh, Kyle, Shelby, Brennen, Brittney, Lauren, James, Justin, Hailey, Kimberly, Cory, Jason, Amanda, Shannon, Tyler, and another grandchild joyously expected any day. GUNN, Shane
After a year long battle with cancer, Lawrence Shane GUNN, 34 years old, passed away at Toronto East General Hospital on Monday, November 28th, 2005. Shane's caring spirit, generosity and especially his "bear hugs" are already missed by his daughter Dianna, sister Tanja and brother-in-law Rich. Shane will also be greatly missed by his mother-in-law Victoria, his brothers-in-law Mike (Melissa) and Collin (Jane), and his former wife Rose. Shane was predeceased by his father Lawrence Gordon GUNN, his mother Dianne Irene GUNN (née BRAZIER,) and his sister Cheryl Lynn GUNN. Rich and Tanja would like to thank their family and Friends for their support over the past year, and for making Shane's dream of travelling to clan Gunn country in Scotland a reality earlier this year. The family also wishes to extend their thanks to 2 extraordinary men, Dr. Jamie MEUSER and Dr. Kevin WORKENTIN, who cared for Shane at home and in hospital through his final months. The family is also grateful for the nurses of G5 who worked very hard to make Shane as comfortable as possible in his last few weeks. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Shane's life at the Sherrin Funeral Home, 873 Kingston Road (west of Victoria Park), Toronto (416-698-2861) on Saturday, December 3rd.
