MAROZSAN, George J. Sr.
Suddenly, on Friday, November 4th, 2005, with his loving family by his side, George J. MAROZSAN Sr. of R.R.#4 Langton at the age of 68 years. Born in Hamilton, September 17, 1937, son of the late Antal MAROZSAN (December 30, 1981) and the late former Margaret TOLLAR (June 14, 1991.) Self-employed logger with the Marozsan Logging, Langton, and Cureman for various area Tobacco Farms. Much loved husband and best friend of 45 years of Helen (MEKKER) MAROZSAN. Loving father and father-in-law of George MAROZSAN Jr. of Langton; Angeline and her husband Dale VRANCKX of St. Williams; and Gary MAROZSAN of R.R.#2 Courtland. Proud "Papa" of: Nicholas, Wesley, and Dale Jr. Survived by a brother William MAROZSAN of Tillsonburg and the late Irene MAROZSAN. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Close in-law of Joe MEKKER and his wife Janice; Stephen MEKKER and his wife Linda, all of London, Irene and her husband Joseph KOTELES of R.R.#6 Tillsonburg. Predeceased by a brother John MAROZSAN (several years ago). Friends and relatives are welcome to meet with the family and share memories on Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6: 30 to 9 p.m. at the Verhoeve Funeral Home, 40 Queen Street, Langton, (875-4464). Parish Prayers are Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass of a Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Langton, by Reverend Father Richard CHARRETTE. Interment St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courtland. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital or the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the St. Ladislaus Church would be sincerely appreciated by the MAROZSAN family.

On March 2, 2005. A proud Executive of the 1st Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (P.L.) Veterans' Association Toronto-Hamilton. Colin felt it was a great priviledge to participate in the Reading Recovery Programme For Young Children at Courcelette Public School. son of the late Mary and Hugh WALLIS. Brother of Dr. and Mrs. H. WALLIS. Beloved husband of Joan MEKNIGHT. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. A family service has taken place.
