LUXMORE, Ann (née HYKAWY)
Peacefully in her sleep, on February 18, 2005 at the Sheridan Villa, Mississauga, at the age of 94. Predeceased by her beloved husband Norman LUXMORE. Dear sister of Walter, Steve, Paul, and predeceased by Mike, William, Mary, and Harry. She will be forever remembered and sadly missed by the HYKAWY and LUXMORE families. Friends may be received at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village), 905-428-8488, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, February 22, 2005. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 12 noon. Interment Erskine Cemetery. Reception to be held at the Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Ajax and Pickering Hospital Foundation.

HOLDING, Fred
Died peacefully, at the Carpenter's Hospice in Burlington, on January 20, 2005, in his 84th year. He is survived by his six children, Keith (Valerie) of Toronto, Brent (Elaine), Sharon COONS (Dave,) and Ronald, all of Burlington, Garth (Joanne) of Dundalk, and Lorraine of Toronto. Companion to Kathy LEMAY of Burlington. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Laura, Kevin, Kane, Vanessa, Christopher and Michael, along with his extended family. Former husband of Jean HOLDING. Predeceased by his brother Harold and sister Marjorie LUXON. A Veteran of World War 2, and retiree of Union Drawn Steel. Sincere thanks are offered to the dedicated caregivers at Joseph Brant Hospital and the Carpenter's Hospice where Fred received exemplary care. In particular, Dr. SALTER and Dr. BERLINGIERI for their kindness and compassion. At Fred's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, on January 23, 2005 from 3: 00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9: 00 p.m. A celebration of Fred's life will take place at a later date. At Bluewater Health, Charlotte Eleanor Englehart site, Petrolia on Friday, March 11, 2005, Lyle WILSON formerly of Alvinston in his 83rd year. son of the late James and Eloise (COOK) WILSON. Beloved husband of the late Rosina (2003). Loving father of Linda TAIT/TAITE/TATE and the late Kenneth WILSON (1995.) Dear grandpa of Tim and Patty and her son Kyle, Terry and Jody, and Tammie and Jeff. Brother of Ivan and Marjorie WILSON and Rheta LUXTON and brother-in-law of Helen WILSON, Helen and Ken BRYCE, Dawn and Claire BORROWMAN, Leona and Jim BEVRIDGE and Donald PAQUETTE. Also loved by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Fred and Orville, and his sister Ruby SWARTZ. Lyle was a World War 2 Veteran with the South Alberta Tank Division and he was retired from C.N. after 32 years. Harold "Gary" McCLURE a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away at the University Campus in London on Friday, June 3, 2005 at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Marlene (BRADBURN) McCLURE. Loving father of Michael and his wife Laurie of Wallaceburg, Karen and her husband Eugene LUXTON of Chatham. Grandfather of 5. Dear son of Bessie (JOHNSTON) McCLURE. Brother of Gertrude McCLURE and husband Jerry CAZABON and Dianne McCLURE and husband Ron BUXTON. Brother-in-law of Carol McCLURE of LaSalle and Stuart BRADBURN of Sarnia. Gary was predeceased by his father Harold McCLURE (1982) and brother Willard McCLURE (1995.) LUXTON, Gillian Carol (née KING)
Born June 23rd, 1942, Dunnville, Ontario. Died September 9th, 2005, Puslinch, Ontario. Gill passed away comfortably at home surrounded by Friends and family, both four legged and two legged, after an illness fought with great spirit and good humour. Eldest daughter of Allan and Elsie KING, and dear wife of Allan William (George) LUXTON. She will be dearly missed by more-than-son Kirk HARRIS, Vikki LEARMONT and grand_son Tyson. Well-loved sister of Jack and Linda KING (Calgary,) Keith and Karen KING (Ajax,) and Shelley KING and John PIERCE (Kingston) and loving aunt to Darren and Katie KING, Cory and Jenna KING, Kelly and Jarl NORTHWOOD, Laura and John DOW, and Travis KING; she cherished the continuing bloodline in Karley, Jaimie, Coleman, and John Daniel. Vera SIMPSON, her friend and fiercest champion, will never find a dearer cause. Special thanks for the loving kindness of Friends Mark DONAHOE and Juanita MICHELIS. The family would like to acknowledge the support and dedication of her health-care team. Gill's compassion and intellect will be remembered both by her patients and by her many colleagues in the Hamilton Health Care system. Those who knew her in her true vocation will remember her commitment to the beauty of the Thoroughbred and the dream of champions. Private interment took place September 10th at Saint John's Anglican Church, South Cayuga.
