HEYERMAN.
He came to Canada in 1952 and worked as a R.N.A. at the Saint Thomas
Psychiatric Hospital and also farmed. He was founding member
of the First Christian Reformed Church and a founding member
of the Ebenezer Christian School. Resting at Williams Funeral
Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Wednesday afternoon and
then to the First Christian Reformed Church for funeral service
at 2: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation
Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances
may be made to the Lung Association or the Saint Thomas-Elgin General
Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

Toronto. Loved grandchildren are Gordon, Stephanie, Erin, Jackie
and Lana. Predeceased in 1999 by Denise, his beloved wife of

born August 21, 1917 in Toronto and graduated from Victoria College,
University of Toronto, with a Bachelors of Arts in English and
History, followed by a Masters of Political Science. A varied
and highly successful career in public education followed, including:
teaching at Strathroy C.I. and North Toronto C.I.; Vice Principal
at O'Neill C.V.I. in Oshawa; Principal at Pembroke C.I.; Superintendent
of Secondary Schools in Elgin County; and he finished his career
by serving as the first Director of Education for Norfolk County
from 1969 until his retirement in 1979. In 1980, Dudley
BRISTOW
was presented the Fred L. Bartlett, annual award for 'outstanding
contribution to education in Ontario'. Dudley has been very active
in politics throughout his life, including being a candidate
for the Co-Operative Commonwealth Federation in the 1949 and
1953 elections in the riding of Rosedale. He has contributed
to the betterment of several communities through many activities,
including his membership in Kiwanis. He was an active contributor
to the United Church and to many worthy charities and causes.
A service, followed by a reception starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday,
November 5, 2005, will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010
Botanical Drive, Burlington (905 527 0405) (next to the Royal
