Suddenly and peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2005 at Scarborough General Hospital, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Phyllis. Loving father of Michael. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Marlene (Frank LYM,) Donald (Pam,) Vincent (Maylin,) Mercedes (Rennick LEE,) Madge (Clive LYN,) Laureene (Stan LEE,) Owen (Heather), sisters-in-law: Myrtle (deceased) and Hyacinth LEE, brothers-in-law: Cyril (deceased,) Allan, Keith (deceased) and Wellington (Mercedes) and Jimmy (Tanya) and all of his many nieces, nephews, relatives and Friends. The family will receive Friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.) on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Saint Thomas Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 14 Highgate Dr., Markham (off Birchmount, north of Steeles) on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2005 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Nyet-Lan. Loving father of Marlene (William LI), Pauline (Karl HUGH), Beverley (Winston CHEN) and Brian LUE (Li). Proud and doting grandfather of Andrew, Pamela, Gary, Natalia, Stephen, Karen, Nadine, Alan, Jillian, Jeffrey and Jason. Will be missed by many relatives and Friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, April 1st at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue (3 lights north of Hwy. 7) Markham, 905-305-8508, and from 10: 30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 2nd at The Chinese Martyrs Catholic Church, 2755 Denison Street, Markham. Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 2nd at 11 a.m. at the church, followed by interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Peacefully, with family at her side, on Tuesday November 29th, 2005 at North York General Hospital in her 90th year. Olive, dearly beloved wife of John for over 65 years. Most loving mother of Beverley, Angella MULLIGAN, Grace and predeceased by her son Wayne. Cherished Grandma of James MULLIGAN. She will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered by her extended family Stanley, Albert, Alexander, Victor CHUNG, Kay CHIN, Helen SHIM and their spouses, grandchildren: Craig, Kecia, Sean, Chad, Kyle, Karli and great-grandchildren: Hunter, Kayla, and Lauren. Arend Jan (John) of Saint Thomas, on Saturday, April 30, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Alice (MONDEE) HEYERMAN and dearly loved father of Diane (Brian) HOLLINGSWORTH and their children Chris and his wife Alysia, Jeff and his wife Denise and their children Brendan and Abby; Jamie and Jenny, Rick (Janell) and their children, Scott, Stacey, Kurstine and Ashley; Eileen and her children Kevin, Ryan and Terry KONING and adopted son Johnny (Lynn) and their children Valentina and Michelle. Dear brother of Bertha and Jo. Predeceased by a sister Riek (1987), a brother Henk (1996) and by a son-in-law Terry KONING (2001.) Special family friend of Donna BROWN.
John was born in Nijverdal, Holland on February 10, 1923, the son of the late Jan Willem and Wilhelmina (LUEMES) HEYERMAN. He came to Canada in 1952 and worked as a R.N.A. at the Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital and also farmed. He was founding member of the First Christian Reformed Church and a founding member of the Ebenezer Christian School. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Wednesday afternoon and then to the First Christian Reformed Church for funeral service at 2: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Lung Association or the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

BRISTOW, Dudley Alexander
In his 89th year, he passed away October 29, 2005. He is survived by a daughter Sheila VAN LUESDEN of Hamilton, a son Duncan and wife Dale of Sarnia, a son Eric and wife Debbie of Calgary, a son Stephen and wife Vera of Calgary, and brother Maurice of Toronto. Loved grandchildren are Gordon, Stephanie, Erin, Jackie and Lana. Predeceased in 1999 by Denise, his beloved wife of 50 years, and son-in-law Russ VAN LEUSDEN in 1998. Dudley was born August 21, 1917 in Toronto and graduated from Victoria College, University of Toronto, with a Bachelors of Arts in English and History, followed by a Masters of Political Science. A varied and highly successful career in public education followed, including: teaching at Strathroy C.I. and North Toronto C.I.; Vice Principal at O'Neill C.V.I. in Oshawa; Principal at Pembroke C.I.; Superintendent of Secondary Schools in Elgin County; and he finished his career by serving as the first Director of Education for Norfolk County from 1969 until his retirement in 1979. In 1980, Dudley BRISTOW was presented the Fred L. Bartlett, annual award for 'outstanding contribution to education in Ontario'. Dudley has been very active in politics throughout his life, including being a candidate for the Co-Operative Commonwealth Federation in the 1949 and 1953 elections in the riding of Rosedale. He has contributed to the betterment of several communities through many activities, including his membership in Kiwanis. He was an active contributor to the United Church and to many worthy charities and causes.
