Passed away in Sunnybrook Hospital on February 21st, 2005. Sadly missed by his wife Mary and stepdaughters Mary and Sandra. Also survived by his sister Catherine and brother James. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to the nursing staff of D2 and especially to Dr. Mark LOMAGA.

Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Grace and Gordon AITKEN, Sam, Joanne and the late Keith JOHNNY, Joseph and Paula DICECCHA, Elizabeth and David COBBAN, Michael, Steven and Deborah CROUSE, David, Alyssa and Jason IAFRATES, Gregory, Katherine, Claire WELCH and Aaron LEVO, Jude WELCH and Kelly OUIMET, Casie WELCH and Adrian DUYZER. At Belmont house, on Friday, January 7, 2005, in her 85th year. Joan was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. ROBSON; dear mother of John (Esther,) the late Donald (Kathy) and Nancy HAMM (Richard); cherished grandmother of Michael and Jennifer, Geoffrey and Scott, Stephen, Peter and Patrick. She is survived by her brother Bill WOODCOCK (Babs) and her sister Mary MacMILLAN. Joan graduated from the University of Toronto at the age of 19. During World War 2 she worked for the Secret Service in New York under William STEPHENSON. She was a hardworking volunteer for many organizations including the National Ballet, the Toronto General Hospital, Metropolitan Nursery School, and the Royal Ontario Museum and was an avid Garden Club member. Beloved by and devoted to her family and her many Friends, she was an active participant in life, with a mischievous sense of humour. Gracious and kind, she maintained her beautiful smile to the end. The family is extremely grateful to those who cared so well for her during her illness, especially to Carol LOMBARD, her devoted caregiver for 10 years. A private family service will be held.
