Thursday from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Friday
morning, August 26, 2005 at 10 o'clock in the Chapel, followed
by cremation at Saint John's Dixie Crematorium, Mississauga, Ontario.

Lloyd was a member of the Royal
Canadian Legion, Branch 185 and was a Life Member of the Masonic
Lodge, Palestine Chapter. Visitation will take place at the Blenheim
Community Funeral Home, 60 Stanley Street, Blenheim, on Thursday,
September 22, 2005 from 12: 00 p.m. til 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service
for Mr. MERCHANT will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday,
September 22, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. with the Reverend Bill
TERRIS of
the Blenheim Baptist Church officiating. As expressions of sympathy,
Friends wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Mr.
MERCHANT, are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.

David was a proud graduate of De La Salle, Oaklands and the University
of Toronto, receiving his PhD in Math and Physics. He was a proud
Canadian who worked for the Department of National Defense at
Shirley Bay, National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa and D.R.B.
Toronto.
Visitation at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, North
York on Tuesday afternoon 2-4 p.m. Prayers at 7-9 p.m. Mass of
Christian Burial at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church on
Wednesday at 10: 30 a.m., 3220 Bayview Avenue, Toronto. Interment
in Mount Hope Cemetery.
