of John on Tuesday May 3rd, 2005, in his 98th year. He has gone
to be with the love of his life, his beloved wife Angelina (nee
LOFRANCO.)
Loving father of Joseph and Rose, Marie and Roland
and Vicki and lain. Very proud and loving grandpa of Joey, Perry,
Michael, John, Laurie and Andy and great grandpa of Eric and
Daniel. His family was the most important part of his life. John
was a very kind and gentle person and always a gentleman. He
had a real passion for life and always enjoyed being with others.
He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Family and Friends
will be received at the Bernardo Funeral Home 2960 Dufferin St.
(two streets south of Lawrence Ave.) on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m.
and 7-9 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 5th, 2005

Embraced in the "Community Cloak" of her family and Friends,
Shelley Thomson/Buonastella passed away, Wednesday August 17,
2005 at the Toronto General Hospital. Her fierce battle with
non-smokers lung cancer ended, as it began, with Shelley surrounded
and protected by her family, her Friends and the broad community
she worked with and loved. A teacher and community activist,
she was treasured by her husband, Orlando, and her two children,
son, Sandro, Danya, her daughter and her dad, Murray (predeceased).
She leaves a vast network of loving survivors beginning with

employed for many years in the Aerospace industry as an electrical
technician. His first 20 years with McDonald Douglas; and the
last five years at

Aerospace. He also worked for 25 years
part time as a DJ, he loved his music. Surviving are his wife

in St. Catharines, she graduated in 1943 from St. Michael's Hospital
Nursing School and in 1948 from St. Michael's School for Medical
Record Administrators. She was a Lieutenant Nursing Sister in
the Canadian Army Medical Corp in 1945 and 1946 serving on the
Isle de France bringing troops back to Canada. She lived in California
(Bay area) for 35 years and retired in 1988 as Director of Medical
Record Services at Sequoia Hospital, Redwood City, California.
Margaret was also an active member of St. Julia's Parish in St.
Catharines and the C.W.L. Funeral details remain incomplete at
