BYE, Barbara Elizabeth (née LIHOU)
Loving hands, generous heart, courageous spirit. It is with deep and fond memories that her family announces the passing of Barbara at home with family and Friends, Wednesday, May 18th, 2005 (her mother's birthday), in her 57th year. Beloved and devoted wife of John, for 34 years. Loved mother or Melissa BYE and Amy (Lenny) FONTE. Also survived by sisters Brenda (Art) CRUICKSHANK of Owen Sound and Beverly (Howard) MCINNES/MCINNIS of Saint Thomas. Dear daughter-in-law of Jean BYE of Owen Sound and sister-in-law of Mary (John) COLLIER and Kathy (Marty) ROACH both of London. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alf and Thelma LIHOU and father-in-law Lester BYE (all formerly of Owen Sound.) Barb was a former secretary at West Hill Secondary School and Sydenham Community School, Owen Sound and June Avenue Public School, Guelph. She was the current secretary at Priority Park Public School, Guelph. Cremation. Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home and Chapel, 206 Norfolk Street, Guelph, Friday, May 27th, 2005 (2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m). Inurnment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 762 Woolwich Street, Guelph, Saturday, May 28th, 2005 at 9: 00 a.m. A memorial service, to celebrate Barbara's life, will be held at Trinity United Church, 400 Stevenson Street, N., Guelph, Saturday, May 28th, 2005 at 10: 30 a.m. Memorial contributions to the Trinity United Church, Heritage Fund, 400 Stevenson St. N., Guelph N1E 5C3 would be appreciated.
