Died peacefully in her sleep with her children at her side at
the North York General Hospital on Sunday, March 13, 2005, having
suffered a massive stroke several weeks earlier. Predeceased
by her beloved husband Roman. She is survived by her children
Olya, Walter (Win) and Roma. She will be missed by her cherished
grandchildren Peter, Kathryn, Adam, Luka and Kristyna. Born in
1923 in Western Ukraine, she and her late husband arrived in
Montreal in 1948 where they lived until 1980 when they moved
to Toronto to be with their children. She valued family above
all else and will be a shining example in that regard to both
her children and grandchildren. A visitation will take place
at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Agincourt
(east of Kennedy Rd.) Tuesday from 6: 30 to 9 p.m. A Panakhyda
Service will take place at 7: 30 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral
Mass will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church,
1490 Markham Rd., Scarborough commencing at 10: 00 a.m. on Wednesday,
