After a brief illness, with family at his side, on Monday, February 21, 2005, age 46. Beloved husband of Hilary and best father in the world to Robbie and Evan. Cherished son of Peter and Jodi KOHAL and dear brother of Karin THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON. Adored son-in-law of Norm and Sylvia SEGGER, and loved by many brothers-and sisters-in-law. Rob will be deeply missed by many Friends and relatives. Family will be receiving Friends at the Glen Oaks Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas St.), on Monday, February 28, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Rob's Life will be held in the Glen Oaks Chapel on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 1: 00 p.m. with the reception to follow at Glen Oaks. Beautiful Suzie made her final curtain call on Thursday June 30, 2005, just weeks before her 99th birthday. Daughter of the late Nathan and Bessie GOLD. She is survived by her son Larry SOLWAY and his wife Shirley, daughter Nancy BOKSER and her husband Harvey, sisters Dorothy KOHEN and Lillian MESSINGER. She was predeceased by two husbands: Joseph B. SOLWAY, and Nathan SMITH, and brother Arthur. She will be remembered by grandchildren Joe, Beth, Rick and Liz and by six great grandchildren. Special thanks to her companion of eight years Maricel MEDINA, and the staff of Chester Village. Service will be held on Friday July 1st, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. at Holy Blossom Temple (1950 Bathurst Street). Interment Holy Blossom Memorial Park. James was predeceased by his sister Margaret THORPE (2003) and her husband Vernon (2001) and his mother-in-law Agnes (Nessie) WILSON (2001.) James was president and Chief Executive Officer of B.T.R. Metzler Automotive and had his M.B.A. from Western in 2000 "Millennium Men" and was also the Campaign chairperson for the United Way in Oakville, Welland, Ontario and Reidsville, North Carolina, James was also a Sponsor and Mentor of the Richard Ivy School of Business, Western University, E.M.B.A. and was awarded the Corporate Citizen of the year by the Reidsville, North Carolina Chamber of Commerce in 1999. He was the owner of Color Your World on Hespeler Road, Cambridge. At James request, cremation has taken place. Survived by brother-in-law Dr. Frank MADER and his wife Edna of London, and sister-in-law Sister Theresa MADER of Mount St. Joseph's, London. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1055 Rosedale, Sarnia on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation will follow. On Friday, September 16, 2005 after an extended illness, Paulina RYAN of London passed away in her 80th year. Survived by her husband William John RYAN of London. Beloved mother of Steven John RYAN and his wife Gail of McDonough, Georgia. Predeceased by her son William (Pat) RYAN of Griffin, Georgia.
