KISBENYI, Joseph
Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after a lengthy battle with lung cancer at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Pearl. Loving father of Christopher and Victor. He will be sadly missed by his many Friends and colleagues. The family will receive Friends at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas/403) in Oakville, 905-257-8822, on Sunday, December 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment on Monday, December 12 at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. Special thanks to the staff at Toronto General Hospital and Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their devotion and care. Grand Bend, Ontario, surrounded by his loving family, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 19, 2005 at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Ontario. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia he was the son of the late Charles Alexander OAKLEY and Elsie WAMBOLT) OAKLEY. He was held membership in the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers International Union of America for 50 consecutive years. He was presented with his gold card in 2003. Surviving is his wife Eva Evelyn (CROCKER) OAKLEY, daughters: Doreen (Ted) BAXTER, Sharon (Gerald) KROESBERGEN, Evelyn (Larry) WRIGHT, Rosemarie OAKLEY, Gloria (Gary) DUNCAN, Cathy Ann OAKLEY (Dan), sons Earl Godfrey OAKLEY (Patti,) Robert OAKLEY (Ally.) Brian A. LASTUCK, age 31, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Saturday morning, May 28, 2005. Brian was born April 4, 1974 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, a son of Leonard and Lucy KISKO) LASTUCK. He moved to Granger, Indiana with his family in 1985 later living in Mishawaka, Indiana, Fort Myers, Florida and most recently in Indianapolis. Brian graduated from Penn-Harris-Madison High School. He was attending Purdue University in Indianapolis, working toward his degree in engineering. Brian was in sales with his family's business, Frame Specialties. He loved playing hockey and was a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Brian was also a fan of the Miami Hurricanes. A pastime he enjoyed was golfing. Brian's surviving family includes his parents, Leonard and Lucy LASTUCK of Mishawaka; a grandmother, Lottie LASTUCK of Toronto, Ontario; his sisters and brother, Kimberley LASTUCK of Mississauga, Ontario, Kevin (Debra) LASTUCK of South Bend, Indiana and Susanne LASTUCK of Mishawaka; his girlfriend, Kelly DOWNS of Indianapolis; a niece, Katlyn LASTUCK; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and Friends. His black cat named "Puck" was also a special buddy of Brian's. Friends may spend time with Brian's family from 6: 00-9:00 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday in Thallemer, Goethals and Wells Funeral Home, 503 West Third Street, Mishawaka. MALCOLM, John Lyle (May 3, 1935-July 17, 2005)
Passed away in hospital on Sunday, July 17, 2005, comforted by dearest Susan, after a 9 year-long struggle with cancer. He is survived by his dear wife Susan (HUDSPETH,) his first and fairest, his salmon fishing companion and his loyal caregiver. Also surviving are his brother Donald MALCOLM and wife Carol of Windsor, Ontario, his niece Heather KISS (Andy) of Windsor, nephews John MALCOLM (Kelly) of Windsor and Andrew MALCOLM (Kari) of Vancouver. Mr. MALCOLM worked for 39 years as a Civil Engineer with McCormick Rankin Corporation, consulting engineers, in Ottawa and Mississauga and was widely known throughout the road building and heavy construction industry in Ontario. For many years he was secretary-treasurer of the firm. In the 1960's and 1970's he was active as a recreational canoeist and undertook several pioneering trips in the Northwest Territories including the first descent of the Back River by Non First Nations Canadians. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, at age 82. Elizabeth, beloved wife of Andrew for 55 years. Elizabeth will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of her family and many Friends and clients. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2: 00 p.m. in the Chapel of The Ogden Funeral Home (St. Clair Chapel), 646 St. Clair Ave. W. Loving husband of Jeanne (INMAN) and the late Barbara Joan GOODMAN (1990.) Dear father of Randy KISSACK of London, Robin KISSACK of Toronto, Joel KISSACK and his wife Jeri of Oakville, and Jeff KISSACK and his fiancée Cathy ROY of Newmarket. He will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jessica, Tyler, Marlie and Ben. Also survived by his brother Donald and his wife Donna, of Florida. Affectionately known as Papa Bob to Robert and Susan INMAN and their children Andrew, Michael and Laura, and by Peter and Nancy INMAN and their children Nicholas, C.J. and Alex. HAYDEN. Predeceased by her parents John and Frances CADDELL, her brother Ernie CADDELL and her sister Edna MONTGOMERY (2004.) Loving sister of Lois KISSICK. Cherished aunt of Dennis and Pat, David, Susan, Jamie and Cathie, John and Miranda, Peter and Pauline and lovingly remembered by their families. Ruby will be sadly missed by her many devoted Friends. Survived by daughter, Pamela Ann CORNELL, of Kingston, and granddaughter Anthea JACKSON (Matt WARD) of New York City. Born July 17, 1914, in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Sigmund and Rosalia (KISSLING) MORAND, from Nuglar-St. Pantaleon, Switzerland. Bertie came to Canada as a war bride in 1945 and lived most of her life in Morrisburg, Ontario, where she received a special award for her volunteer contributions as a Brownie and Girl Guide leader, a member of two choirs, a teaching assistant at Saint Mary's Separate School, and general all-round friendly, helpful person. She moved to Kingston to live with her daughter in 1993, and into a retirement home in 2000. A tree-planting and celebration of her life will take place in the spring. GREEN, John Glendower
With much sadness the family of John GREEN announces his passing on Sunday, December 19, 2004. John was a strong role model to his children and grandchildren and an inspiration to many. In spite of many years with Parkinson's disease, he lived with kindness and dignity. A well known and respected business man, his family was always first to him. Loving husband and best friend of the late Irene GREEN (July 2003.) John was a wonderful father and a warm and caring grandfather to Sharon (Pasquale) BOMBARDIERI, their children, Paola, Lisa and Ben; Lynda DELONG, her children Ian and Nick; Ron GREEN, his son John; Diane (Jack) HAYDEN, their children Will and Jim; Louise DUBASH, her children Soli and Danny Debbie KIST, her son Paul; Glenn (Judy) GREEN, their children Christopher and Amanda; Gord GREEN and the late Allan GREEN. Cherished brother of Joan (Ken) GIDDINGS, Gordon (Irene) GREEN and the late Betty (Ernie) GIDDINGS. John was a pilot with the Royal Canadian Air Force.
