After yet another courageous battle Leslie, age 92 years, slipped
the surly bonds of earth and passed away peacefully in the presence
of his family on August 17, 2005 at York Central Hospital. He
is survived by sons Alan, Murray (Karen) and Ron (Pat). Pre-deceased
by his wife

SHARP and brothers Norman (Rose)
and Royden. He is remembered by nephews Bruce (Marjolaine), Rob
and Roy (Mary Jo) and niece Eleanor. As a Flight Lieutenant in
World War 2, he became an instructor in the British Commonwealth
Air Training Plan. He was also a 40 year employee of Shell Canada.
A Memorial Gathering in memory of Leslie will be held at the
Elgin Mills Visitation, Chapel and Reception Center. 1591 Elgin
Mills Rd East (905) 737-1720 on Tuesday August 23 from 5-8 p.m.
Our thanks go to the staff of the Glynnwood Retirement Residence
as well as the doctors and nurses at York Central Hospital. In
lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would
be appreciated.
