JUPE, Leslie Lawrence
After yet another courageous battle Leslie, age 92 years, slipped the surly bonds of earth and passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on August 17, 2005 at York Central Hospital. He is survived by sons Alan, Murray (Karen) and Ron (Pat). Pre-deceased by his wife Irene Mary, née SHARP and brothers Norman (Rose) and Royden. He is remembered by nephews Bruce (Marjolaine), Rob and Roy (Mary Jo) and niece Eleanor. As a Flight Lieutenant in World War 2, he became an instructor in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. He was also a 40 year employee of Shell Canada. A Memorial Gathering in memory of Leslie will be held at the Elgin Mills Visitation, Chapel and Reception Center. 1591 Elgin Mills Rd East (905) 737-1720 on Tuesday August 23 from 5-8 p.m. Our thanks go to the staff of the Glynnwood Retirement Residence as well as the doctors and nurses at York Central Hospital. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Suddenly on May 3rd, 2005 Norma Sharon BROADHEAD, in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of the late Larry BROADHEAD (1995.) Loving mother of Tom, Kevin (Sharon SCHUYLER,) Jeanette (John) JUPP, Cathy and Andy. Dear grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 1. Also survived by her sister Peggy and Helen as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in the Lloyd R. Needham Funeral Chapel, (520 Dundas Street), on Monday from 7-9 p.m. where the complete funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 10th, at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and sailor. Born in Toronto, September 8, 1920, died at Sunnybrook Hospital on December 8, 2005. Survived by his wife of 54 years Evelyn, son William (daughter-in-law, Sharon MANCHEE,) daughter Margaret SCHULER and his granddaughter Katherine SCHULER. Brother to Allen (Ruth), Howard (the late Ruth), Donald (Georgina). Brother-in-law to Robert LAMB (Norma,) Benjamin (Joan,) John (Ann.) Uncle Ed to his many nephews and nieces, their husbands and wives and children. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, December 11. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church, 1399 Bayview Avenue on Monday, December 12 at 1 o'clock. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital on February 26, 2005 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of 50 years to Joanne (nee JUPP.) Loving father of Donnie and Lisa FORD. Survived by his loving twin brother Ron and his wife Marie of Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews as well as close Friends. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1: 30 until time of Service at 3: 30 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation.
