passed away suddenly on Monday, February 14, 2005 at the Chatham
Kent Health Alliance "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the
age of 45 years. Mike was the owner of the Oaks Inn in Wallaceburg.
He was a past president of Wallaceburg Minor Baseball and past
president of the Kinsmen Club of Wallaceburg. He devoted much
of his time to minor sports in Wallaceburg. Mike was also involved
with many Wallaceburg community events. Loving husband of 21

Lionel was a resident of Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. Passed
away September 10, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. in Nanaimo Regional General
Hospital. He was in his 89th year. Lovingly remembered and sadly
missed by his wife of 62 years Marion; also his children, daughter
Catherine JASMINS of Richmond Hill, Ontario and grand_son Paul
son Norman of Ashburn, Ontario and grand_son Christopher, and
granddaughter Elizabeth. Lionel was a chemical engineer graduate
of the University of British Columbia and was with Shell Canada
for 34 years. He retired to Qualicum Beach, British Columbia,
in 1976 (where Lionel and Marion had honeymooned). He was a long
time member of the Rotary Club and former president. Lionel was
also an avid golfer, good gardener and was admired for his skilled
carpentry work. In respect of his wishes, there will be no service.
Arrangements through First Memorial Funeral Services, Nanaimo,
British Columbia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in
Lionel's memory to the Society of Organized Services, 245 W.
Hirst Street, Parksville, British Columbia which was his favourite
charity.
