Passed away peacefully at Leisureworld, Lawrence Ave. on March 9, 2005 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his beloved wife Alice. Loving father of Lorraine and her husband Joe SALVIA, Johanne FOSTER, Teresa ANDREWS and her husband Randy NANAY. Dearest grandfather of Anna Marie (Tony), Jennifer (Eric), Anthony (Sandra), Nicole (Emerson), Robin (Iain) and Dan. Proud great-grandfather of Madalyn, Isabella and Cameron. Mrs. Frances Elizabeth THIBIDEAU a long time resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Monday, December 27, 2004 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance "Sydenham Campus", Wallaceburg at the age of 90 years. Mrs. THIBIDEAU was born in Port Lambton and was a daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (MARCOTTE) O'LEARY. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Wallaceburg and was a member of Our Lady of Help C.W.L. Beloved wife of the late Aurthur THIBIDEAU (1986.) Loving mother and mother-in-law of Tom and Maureen THIBIDEAU of Wallaceburg, Mary and Harold SUTTON of Huntsville and Margaret THIBIDEAU of Markham. Sadly missed by her grand_sons: Tom, Tim, Greg, Matthew, Mark, Justin and her granddaughters: Andrea and Julia. Dear sister of Helen O'LEARY of Royal Oak, Michigan. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Antonio VICOLI and Tanya VICOLI. Predeceased by her daughter Darlene VICOLI. The late Madeline DE DOBBELEER rested at the Eric F. Mr. Michael Gordon "Mike" CHILDS a life long resident of Wallaceburg passed away suddenly on Monday, February 14, 2005 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 45 years. Mike was the owner of the Oaks Inn in Wallaceburg. He was a past president of Wallaceburg Minor Baseball and past president of the Kinsmen Club of Wallaceburg. He devoted much of his time to minor sports in Wallaceburg. Mike was also involved with many Wallaceburg community events. Loving husband of 21 years to Dianne (O'NEIL) CHILDS. Loving father of Tyler, Adam and Jason. Dear son of Gord and Fran CHILDS and son-in-law of Harry and Grace O'NEIL all of Wallaceburg. Kind brother of Michelle and Barry LAJOIE of Sombra, Mark and Theresa CHILDS of Wallaceburg. Kind brother-in-law of Gary and Janice O'NEIL of Wallaceburg, Shirl and Doug GILLILAND of Glencoe, Trish O'NEIL and her friend Andy BAART of Wallaceburg and Stephen and Kim O'NEIL of British Columbia. Dear father and father-in-law of Dean JAUNIAUX, Lynn and John YAZBECK, Penny and Dan BAULCOMB all of Wallaceburg and Joe JAUNIAUX of Mississauga. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Toni, Mike, Dylan, Simon, Wade, Tegan, Johnathan, Justin and Willy. Kind brother of Yolande MAZUR, Monica COOPER and Rosee ALLARD all of Wallaceburg. On May 6th in St. Catharines, Ontario, of lung cancer. Beloved husband of 45 years to Arlene (née LEGROS.) Devoted father to Janice PASKEY (Marc COYTE) of Calgary and Gail PASKEY (Sean RANDALL) of Thunder Bay. Much loved grandfather of Conn and Brenna RANDALL, and Matthew and Adam PASKEY- COYTE. Brother to Helen (Ken) MARTIN of Atlanta. Godfather to Cindy PASKEY of St. Catharines, Chris and Nicholas TESTON. And Catharine BUTLER of Atlanta, and Danny VASKO of Chicago. Youngest child of Peter and Martha (née JASIENSKI) PASKEY who operated a barber shop/beauty parlor in St. Catharines. Peter worked as a sheet metal worker, a job he loved. Peter was always on the go: He loved reading, golf and travelling, and could often be found driving "over the river" to New York in one of his oversized cars for shopping, beer and wings. He was a devoted (and long suffering) Buffalo Bills fan. Funeral mass at The Cathedral, 67 Church Street, at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 14th. Reception to follow. No visitation. Lionel was a chemical engineer graduate of the University of British Columbia and was with Shell Canada for 34 years. He retired to Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, in 1976 (where Lionel and Marion had honeymooned). He was a long time member of the Rotary Club and former president. Lionel was also an avid golfer, good gardener and was admired for his skilled carpentry work. In respect of his wishes, there will be no service. Arrangements through First Memorial Funeral Services, Nanaimo, British Columbia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lionel's memory to the Society of Organized Services, 245 W. Hirst Street, Parksville, British Columbia which was his favourite charity.
