JAQUES, in his 84th year, passed away peacefully
at London Health Sciences Centre-University Campus on Monday,
January 10, 2005. He will be lovingly remembered, sorrowfully
missed, and forever cherished by his wife of 58 years, Vivian
Louise (née
RITCHIE.)
Best friend and father to Leigh and Susan
of London, Dennis and Kathy of Windsor, Cindy and David
LITTLE
of Glencoe. Devoted grandfather to Todd (Wendy), Stefanie (Chad),
Ashley and Grant. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
Howard was an Royal Canadian Air Force pilot during World War
2 and returned home to marry and begin his 33 year career with
London Life Insurance Company, in Windsor and then London. He
was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Victory Branch #317.
Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at London Health Sciences
Centre for their special care during Howard's illness. His life
will be celebrated on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 2 p.m. Visitation
one hour prior to service at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997
Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London. In lieu of flowers, donations
to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Canadian Diabetes
Association or The Church of the Transfiguration would be gratefully
appreciated. A tree will be planted in Howard's memory. Arrangements

WINEGARD sadly announces her peaceful
passing at her home Guelph, March 12, 2005. Born into the family
of the Reverend Ernest and Maye
JAQUES,
Elizabeth and her five
brothers and sisters grew up on the Six Nations Reserve near
Caledonia, Ontario. After graduating from the University of Toronto,
she married fellow Caledonian Bill
WINEGARD, and over the next
few years they had their three children, Bill, Charles and Kathryn.
Kathryn's death from cancer in 1999 was the greatest sorrow of
Elizabeth's life. Left to mourn, but also to celebrate her life,
are Elizabeth's devoted husband, the Honourable William C.
