YAMAMOTO, Michiko (née HASHIMOTO)
Peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Monday, April 25, 2005. Beloved wife of Arthur. Loving mother of Midori (Rob BRAUCH) and "Ichi-Ban" grandmother of Mikiyo and Akira BRAUCH. Predeceased by parents Naojiro and Koto HASHIMOTO and by brother Ken. Dear sister of Chiyoko IZUMI, Gertrude URABE, Margaret KAWAI, Sachiko SUEFUJI and Nanako ISHII. Survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. At Mich's request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Upper James Chapel of Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James Street, Hamilton on Thursday, April 28, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation made to a charity of your choice is appreciated.

Passed away peacefully at Mississauga Trillium Hospital on Saturday, October 29, 2005 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Kazuo, loving mother of Richard (Hilda), Larry (Kareen) and Jane (Gene). Cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Hugh (Akiko) and predeceased by Kiyoko, Kazuko, Maseko, Betty and Ken. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10, North of Queen Elizabeth Way) on Tuesday, November 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Aprivate family Funeral Service will be held. Cremation. Interment at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

IZUMI, Kimiko (née IWAMOTO)
Peacefully at Craiglee Nursing Home, in her 85th year, on December 12, 2005. Beloved wife of Masakazu IZUMI, sister of Sumi IWAMOTO, mother of the late Alan IZUMI (Karen HUGHES,) Susan IZUMI (Alan KING) and Lynne (David) EVANS. She is sadly missed by her grandchildren, Corey IZUMI (Lindsay LEE) and Kristin IZUMI, her great-grandchild Blake IZUMI, all her grand-nephews and nieces, and our family's special friend, Sharon GLESS. She is fondly remembered by her many Friends at her church and in her neighbourhood. Resting at the Paul O'Conner Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Warden and Pharmacy) on Thursday, December 15 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Wexford Heights United Church (2102 Lawrence Ave. E.) on Friday, December 16 at 11 a.m. Private family burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. If desired, in lieu of flowers or koden, please make donations to the Wexford Heights United Church. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Scarbrough Community Care Access Centre and Craiglee Nursing Home for their extraordinary care of all of us.
