(December 14, 1924-September 18, 2005)
Retired Partner of McCarthy Tetrault and Past President of the Nelson Arthur Hyland Foundation. Peacefully passed away in Toronto on Sunday, September 18, 2005 with his family at his side. Beloved husband of the late Mary Louise (2000). Dear father to Jay (Kate) of Victoria, British Columbia, Judy (Sandy) of Aurora, Ontario, Andrew (Jillian) of Calgary, Alberta and the late Richard. Grandfather of Gillian, Curtis, Connor, Neil, Hayden, Brady and Liam. son of Senator Salter HAYDEN and Ethel CONNELLY and brother to Salter Jr., Wilfred and Michael (all predeceased). Life long friend to Mitz ITO and his sons Dick and Arthur. A private family service was held. A Celebration of Life to be held at Rosedale Golf Club, details to follow at a later date. YAMAMOTO, Noboru " Nobby"
Passed away at Scarborough General Hospital on October 3, 2005 at the age of 82. He is survived by his loving wife Ichie (ENDO,) brothers Tom (Lily) and Robert (Toby), with sisters (in Japan) Nobuko, Yoshiko, Machiko and Shizue. He was brother-in-law to Lily Y. ITO, Kazue ENDO, Tokiko KISHI (Minoru), Mits ENDO and Miyo ITO (Mark.) Predeceased by sister Fumiko IWASAKI and brothers-in-law Chusaburo ITO, Masaji ENDO and Masatomo ENDO (Aiko.) Family and Friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2005. A private family funeral service will be held at a later date. Koden gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto Buddhist Church or a charity of your choice.
