Rudy
Passed away suddenly, in his 71st year, while golfing, Friday,
June 24, 2005. Loving and devoted husband of Doris. Rudy will
be sadly missed by son Ron, daughter-in law Sharyn, Ron

and family. His enormous circle of Friends will never forget
his tremendous sense of humour and passion for life. As an avid
sports enthusiast, Rudy is best known for his life achievements:
Ontario Alpine Ski Champion, Coach of Women's Alpine Ski Team
of U. of T., 1967-1968, Ski School Director of Blue Mountain
Resorts, Assistant Director to Ernie
McCOLLOCH, Blue Mountain
Ski School, Level 4 Member of the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance,
Member of the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation, Special Olympic
Certified Alpine Ski Team Coach, 20 year Coach for Alpine Racers
Toronto Ski Club and coached past National Olympic athletes,
Recipient of Toronto Ski Club's highest award, the 'Julian Sale'
Trophy, Life time Member of Toronto Ski Club, previous Member
of Monterra Golf Club, present Member of The Blue Mountain Golf
and Country Club. Visitation and Celebration of Rudy's life will
take place at Fawcett Funeral Home, Collingwood Chapel, 82 Pine
Street, on Monday, June 27, 2005, from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass
will be held at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 63 Elgin Street,
Collingwood at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Reception to
follow in the parish hall in Saint Mary's Church. In lieu of flowers,
donations to The Special Olympics will be greatly appreciated.
