Of West Vancouver, British Columbia.
Bill passed away peacefully in the Lions Gate Hospital Palliative Care Unit after a brave struggle with leukemia on October 21, 2005 at the age of 63. Survived by his loving wife Margaret, the children he adored Christine and John, and his brother Richard. The family would like to thank all Bill's wonderful Friends and relatives for their love and support, Dr.'s Kelpin and Klimo and all the caring staff at Lions Gate Hospital Chemotherapy clinic and Lions Gate Palliative Care Unit and the kind homecare workers. Memorial Service to be held Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Christ Church Cathedral, 690 Burrard Street, Vancouver, British Columbia at 10: 30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House, Lions Gate Chemotherapy Clinic or Palliative Care Program.

Graduated from the University of Toronto in Mechanical Engineering in 1943. Served with the Canadian Armed Forces, World War 2 with brave service in the Italian Campaign and the Liberation of Holland. Retired from the Federal Government, Patent Office. 79 years. Passed away peacefully on January 4, 2005 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Loving husband to Lorraine. Loving and devoted father to Donna and Geoff HIBBERT, Matthew and Mary EATON. Dear stepfather to Debra McLELLAN and Jack SHEARING. Papa EATON will be missed dearly by his grandchildren Matthew and wife Laura, John SCOTT, Laura SCOTT, Mandy EATON, Mindy EATON and also missed by his 7 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Hugh and Charles and his sisters Margaret McILRAVEY, Betty BURGESS, Jean EATON and predeceased by his brother James and his sister Mina DUSOMME. Matthew served overseas during World War 2 in the R.C.R.'s and was wounded twice while serving our country. He was also retired from C.B.C. after many years of service. Beloved wife and best friend for 31 years of Paul. Devoted and loving mother of Jennifer and son-in-law Jason SESSFORD. Cherished daughter of Marion and Terry SHAY/SHEA. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters, Barry (Shirley,) Nancy (Rob SHANNON), Ken (Vicki), Susan (Larry GWILLIAM) and Patty (Mike). Val will lovingly be remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Janet DICKIESON, Jane (Steve SMITH,) Dan (Katrina) and Joanne. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lyall at Sunnybrook Hospital on Thursday, December 15th, 2005 on his 73rd birthday. Beloved brother of Donald and his wife Michele. Predeceased by parents Stewart (1991) and Lila (née CHILCOTT) (1983). Lyall, born in Ottawa, moved to Oshawa as a child, and briefly worked at General Motors before moving to Toronto. In Toronto he worked at Simpsons, Deer Park Hardware and Golden Harvest Health Food Store. He will be remembered fondly by several cousins and many Friends - especially Reg NICKERSON and members of the Dominion Worship Centre. Special thanks to Pastor Gary HIBBERT and the wonderful, dedicated doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook and Providence Health Centre.
