Pat was an ardent curler and cherished her life-long Friendships
with her nursing and curling companions. The family is particularly
grateful for the dedicated, warm and affectionate home and hospital
care provided by Mary and the attentive and professional doctors
and nurses at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Finn and Shelby. Nancy passed away suddenly at Toronto General
Hospital as a result of complications following major surgery.
Nancy was a long-term employee of Imperial Oil Limited and provided
devoted, and lengthy service to many organizations. She held
a special interest in The Canadian National Institute for the
Blind where she continued for many years the dedicated work of
her parents, serving in many capacities including several years
on the National Board. Nancy was a keen golfer as a member of
the Toronto Golf Club, an avid duplicate bridge player and crossword
puzzle addict. Nancy will be sadly missed by the family, many
Friends in Toronto, Hamilton and her beloved Lake of Bays, and
by her pet retriever and devoted companion, Sherry. A Memorial
Service will be held in the chapel at the Humphrey Funeral Home
- A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue
East), at 3: 00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9 with a reception

after a brief struggle with lung cancer. Doug was the loved and

NOWATZKI of Winnipeg survive him. Doug enjoyed
the love of a large clan of sisters and brothers-in-law, many
nieces and nephews in Ontario and Manitoba, as well as several
little great-nieces and nephews. Doug started his career as a
Lawyer in Brantford in 1970 and set up the Legal Department at
the City of Brantford in 1975. He worked at the City until his
illness intensified. Doug was involved in many City projects
and enjoyed being a part of Brantford's growth and success in
recent years. He had great respect for his colleagues and all
the City employees whom he knew. His involvement in local sports
and with the Rotary Club of Brantford enriched his life and made
him many Friends. His love of books and music sustained him,
especially in the last few weeks. The family will receive Friends
at McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford, Sunday
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's
United Church, 95 Darling Street at George Street, Brantford,
