Passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at the Toronto Grace
Hospital, where she received the utmost care from the truly dedicated
nursing staff who took care of her every need. Muriel leaves
her husband Harry, a loving and constant companion for over 60
years. Muriel leaves her sister-in-law Betty
CONTANT and nieces
Susan and Lorna and nephew Alan, and her dear friend Zena
ROWAN.
Muriel was born in Toronto July 5, 1921, the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Alfred
PRICE.
Muriel was the only niece of Mr. and Mrs.
W.A. PRICE of the Windsor Arms where she used to play with her
Grandpa in the courtyard. After their wedding in 1944, Muriel
and Harry moved to Buffalo, New York where they spent 26 happy
years. They returned to Toronto in 1971. Together they built
a home on Woodroffe Bay, Lake Joseph, Muskoka, which they enjoyed
year round for thirty years. Friends may call at the Turner and
Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of
the Jane subway, on Friday, August 5, 2005 from 10 a.m. until
the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment

Died peacefully after a brief illness in his 87th year. Survived
by his beloved wife of 50 years Sophie, and by his sons Robert
and his wife Katherine and their children Christian and Charlotte,
and Richard and his wife Heather and their children Arden, Paul,
and Rose. A Service of Remembrance will take place at the Jerrett
Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge St. (2 lights south of Steeles) on Thursday,

General Hospital, and was a member of the Eastwood Fellowship
Baptist Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street,
Saint Thomas, where funeral service will be held Monday at 3: 00
p.m. Visitation Monday from 12: 00-3:00 p.m. Burial will take
place in Kapuskasing in the spring. Remembrances may be made

and his many Friends and relatives. Graduate of Humberside Collegiate
Institute, and the University of Toronto (Civil Engineering).
Employed by the Province of Ontario in fire prevention and medical
engineering, and later was Director of the first air pollution
control authority of Metropolitan Toronto. As president of the
Air and Waste Management Association he influenced the U.S. government
to create the Environmental Pollution Association. An avid bridge
player, he won several Ontario and international tournaments.
Enjoyed tennis, and took up flying of small aircraft at the age
of 81. Our family would like to thank Dr. Michael
GITTERMAN,
and the kind staff at Meadowcroft Place (Constitution) for their
wonderful care. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel"
Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10, North of Queen
