It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, on Saturday, May 28, 2005. Beloved wife of the late James HEGARTY. Loving mother of Tom (2002) and his wife Jane, Susan, Peter and his wife Patti, Mary and her husband Doug WALKER, Paul, Annette and her husband Ivars PLORINS, John and his wife Lisa. Loving grandmother of Nevin, Nathan, Meghan, Lisa, Peter, Jason, Ryan, Michael, Brian, John, David and Mark. Private family service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2005. Anne's family wishes to thank Aurora Resthaven for the professional care they gave to her during her stay. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

SMITH, Muriel Evelyn (née PRICE)
Passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at the Toronto Grace Hospital, where she received the utmost care from the truly dedicated nursing staff who took care of her every need. Muriel leaves her husband Harry, a loving and constant companion for over 60 years. Muriel leaves her sister-in-law Betty CONTANT and nieces Susan and Lorna and nephew Alan, and her dear friend Zena ROWAN. Muriel was born in Toronto July 5, 1921, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred PRICE. Muriel was the only niece of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. PRICE of the Windsor Arms where she used to play with her Grandpa in the courtyard. After their wedding in 1944, Muriel and Harry moved to Buffalo, New York where they spent 26 happy years. They returned to Toronto in 1971. Together they built a home on Woodroffe Bay, Lake Joseph, Muskoka, which they enjoyed year round for thirty years. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Friday, August 5, 2005 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in the family plot at Prospect Cemetery. Survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Sophie, and by his sons Robert and his wife Katherine and their children Christian and Charlotte, and Richard and his wife Heather and their children Arden, Paul, and Rose. Erwin HEGENBERG passed away peacefully at University Hospital on Saturday, February 5, 2005 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Bridget HEGENBERG (née CURRAN) 1994. Loving father of Maureen (Alun) PIGGINS. Dear brother of Anneliese POSSL of Velbert, Germany. Loved brother-in-law of Patrick (Pauline) CURRAN, Marie CURRAN and their families. Erwin will also be missed by very dear friend Brenda HOLLAND. Winnifred Amelia of People Care Nursing Home, Tavistock, on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at her late residence in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Freeman ANDREWS (1958,) and the late Melville Stanley HEGGART (1951.) Cherished mother of Marguerite and her husband Dan BROMILOW of Kapuskasing, Bob and his wife Margaret HEGGART of Kapaskasing, Lloyd and his wife Helen HEGGART of Geraldton, Elizabeth TAILOR/TAYLOR of Woodstock, Ruth and her husband Ron FESTING of Woodstock, and Cathy SIMONS of Wallaceburg. Predeceased by a daughter Barbara EAKINS. Loved sister of Fred CHATWIN of England, Gladys CHATWIN of Toronto, and the late Walter CHATWIN. Sadly missed by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Winnifred was born on June 7, 1913 in Elmvale, the daughter of the late Ernest and Winnifred CHATWIN. She has resided in St. Thomas since 1958. She was an employee at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, and was a member of the Eastwood Fellowship Baptist Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas, where funeral service will be held Monday at 3: 00 p.m. Visitation Monday from 12: 00-3:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Kapuskasing in the spring. Remembrances may be made to the charity of ones choice.

Peacefully, at Meadowcroft Place, Mississauga, on the morning of June 7, 2005. Born January 23, 1911. Predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Velma (née GRASS,) his father Albert Edward BELYEA and mother Chloe Ella NEWLOVE, and sister Ella TEASDALE. He will be sadly missed by dear wife Vail, loving daughter and son-in-law Carol and Wally HEGGUM, and grandchildren Greg and Susan MAGUIRE, and his many Friends and relatives. Graduate of Humberside Collegiate Institute, and the University of Toronto (Civil Engineering). Employed by the Province of Ontario in fire prevention and medical engineering, and later was Director of the first air pollution control authority of Metropolitan Toronto. As president of the Air and Waste Management Association he influenced the U.S. government to create the Environmental Pollution Association. An avid bridge player, he won several Ontario and international tournaments. Enjoyed tennis, and took up flying of small aircraft at the age of 81. Our family would like to thank Dr. Michael GITTERMAN, and the kind staff at Meadowcroft Place (Constitution) for their wonderful care. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10, North of Queen Elizabeth Way) from 2: 00 p.m. Monday until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 3: 00 p.m. Private interment on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Park Lawn Cemetery.
