cause of Conservation and Environmental Protection, notably of
Canada's Heritage of Parks and Wilderness. First Executive Director
Conservation Council of Ontario, Principal Founder, and Chief
Executive Officer of Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society. Gavin's
collected papers documenting a record of achievement over more
than 30 years from 1953 on, are preserved in the archives of
Trent University. Funeral Service and Interment of cremated remains
will take place at a later date at Mount Albert Cemetery. If
desired, memorial donations may be made to the Nature Conservatory
of Canada.
