Marilyn Eloise ROTHERY (FITZGERALD) a resident of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus on Sunday, January 2, 2005. Daughter of the late Ernest FITZGERALD and the former Jean CARR. Marilyn is survived by twin daughters Janice and her husband Bob GURD and Janet and her husband Brian LASHMORE and one son Jim and his wife Deb ROTHERY all of Wallaceburg. Dear grandmother of Jennifer and David MIREAULT, Stephanie and Darrin LAURIN, Rob GURD, Kristen and Jay ROTHERY, Mickey and Julie LASHMORE. Great grandmother of Wade, Cody, Shyanna, Jacob and Jessica; brothers William FITZGERALD and his wife Grace R.R.#5 Dresden and Gordon FITZGERALD and his wife Norma of Port Lambton; sisters Ruth Ann FITZGERALD of London and Carolyn and her husband Tim CUMMINGS of Chatham; Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. One brother Hugh FITZGERALD predeceased 1981. Funeral service was held at Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, in Wallaceburg, on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 1 p.m. with Reverend Reg BABBEY officiating. Memories of Marilyn were shared by granddaughter Jennifer MIREAULT. Pallbearers were nephews, Barry FITZGERALD, Bob FITZGERALD, Ben CUMMINGS, and grand_sons Jay ROTHERY, Rob GURD and great grand_son Wade GURD. The flowerbearers were Cody GURD and Shyanna ERMATINGER. A time of fellowship and refreshment followed at the Cavanagh Reception Centre. Interment took place in Dresden Cemetery. Mrs. Mary Isabella PATTERSON a long time resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2005 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 85 years. She was born in Dover Township, Ontario and is predeceased by her father Joseph and her mother Beatrice. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wallaceburg. Beloved wife of the late Richard (Dick) PATTERSON (1993.) Loving mother of the late Sandra LAURIN (1998.) Sadly missed by her grand_sons Darrin and his wife Stephanie LAURIN of Wallaceburg and David LAURIN of Alberta. Dear great grandmother of Tyler, Stephanie and Brandon. Kind sister and sister-in-law of Douglas and Anne THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of Meaford, Nadine and the late Paul McDONALD of Mitchell's Bay, the late Donna Anne RANKIN and the late Maxine (THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON) WALDEN. The late Mrs. PATTERSON rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street in Wallaceburg until Monday, March 21, 2005 when the funeral service was held from the chapel of the funeral home at 10: 30 a.m. with Pastor Brian HORROBIN, Officiating. Pallbearers were Tony DAVIS, Dan FARR, Rob RICHARD, Jarrod JONES, Craig GRIFFORE and Rob GURD. Interment has taken place in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. Suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services, Wiarton on Friday, November 4th, 2005. Bill WALKER of Mar, in his 67th year. Loving husband of 44 years to the former Mary Lou McKAY. Cherished father of Terri and her husband Harley HODGINS, of Kincardine; Robert, and Sean and his wife Tracy, both of Owen Sound. Proud grandfather of Jonathan, Sasha, Christina, Katelynn, Megan and David. Brother of Burnie and his wife Audrey, of Chesley; Terry and his wife Fran, of Wiarton; and Marion GURNEY, of Nanaimo, British Columbia. Sadly missed by his mother-in-law Margaret McKAY, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and Friends. Predeceased by his parents William and Dorothy WALKER, and a sister, Phyllis COWL. Bill served his community for thirty years with the O.P.P.; was Staff Sergeant in Kincardine; was a member of the O.P.P. Vets Association served on the Wiarton Police Services Board; and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, Owen Sound. Cremation has taken place. Peacefully, with his wife and family at his side, at the Kingston General Hospital, on January 1, 2005, in his 79th year. Loving husband of Evelyn (née BRUMM,) in their 58th year of marriage. Dear father of Glenn (Frances), Hamilton; and Gayle (John), Tamworth. Grandpa will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Victoria (Jerry YATCO), Brampton; Karen (Randy GURNSEY), Roblin; Andrew BEBEE, Tamworth; and Yvonne (John BARTLEY,) Brantford. Len was a loving Opa to Will, Caroline and Charlotte GURNSEY, Lillie YATCO and Jamie DAUGHTREY. Len is predeceased by his parents Lucy and Lawrence FREEMAN; brothers Ken and Tom; sisters Alice, Winnifred, Eva and Dorothy. He is survived by his brother Don, and sisters-in-law Mary and Marjorie FREEMAN. Sadly missed by brothers-in-law Wally (Fran BRUMM) and Robert ADAM/ADAMS. Len's presence and humour will be missed by his many nieces and nephews at the FREEMAN, BRUMM and CHRISTINCK Family Reunions. Len proudly served his country as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for thirty-five years, after joining as a Boy Soldier at the age of seventeen. He retired from the services as Regimental Quartermaster at the Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario in 1978. In her 91st year, Eleanor Hilda WILKINS (née ALDERTON) the beloved wife of the late (Frank) Stephen Francis WILKINS. Loving mother of Bruce WILKINS and his wife Donelda, Nancy and her husband Paul VERMILLYEA and Katherine and her husband Gino FRANCESCHINI. Loving grandmother of Steve WILKINS and his wife Kaylene, Jeff WILKINS and his wife Kelly, Heather and her husband Kirk MILLER, Michael GURR and his wife Tania, Sean VERMILLYEA and his wife Kendra and Todd VERMILLYEA and his wife Tricia. Special great-grandmother of eleven great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and one step-great-great-grandchild. Now at peace with God, Reginald Victor "Reg" WATSON of Aylmer passed away at the Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday December 30, 2005 in his 78th year. Devoted husband of Margaret (GURR) WATSON. Father of three very gifted children whom have lived, loved and laughed through out his time with us. Roger WATSON and wife Marianne of Saint Thomas, Brenda and husband Erich SCHMELTER of Aylmer and Brian WATSON of London. Loved by his grandchildren Devon, Dwight, Sydney, Cameron and Ryley. Brother of Ken WATSON of Saint Thomas, Jean WALKER of Carstairs, Alberta, and the late Isabel WICKETT. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Reg loved his family and he cherished everyday he could spend with us and he knew his spirit would carry on with all. He was a close friend to many and a cherished gift to us all. We will miss him but we know that he will be taking care of us all from above. Born in Saint Thomas, Ontario on December 20, 1928 the son of the late Herbert and Adelene (COOMBS) WATSON.
