Suddenly, on April 13, 2005, at the St. Joseph's Health Centre. Mary (née GUL,) beloved wife of the late Bart TOMASEK. Loving mother of Joseph and Rose, Michael and Nancy, James and Andrea, and Martin and Laurie. Babcia will be fondly remembered and forever loved by Cody, Curtis, Madison, Megan, and Rhena. Dear sister of Rita BOKSA and Ted, and predeceased by her brothers Marion, Kas, Ben, Stan, Wally and Felix. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Jenny CHYZ, Margaret GOUL, Nora GOUL and Lottie GUL, and her nieces, nephews and Friends. Family and Friends will be received at the "Woodbridge Chapel" of Scott Funeral Home, 7776 Kipling Avenue (at Hwy. 7), on Saturday between 6-8 p.m., and Sunday between 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 18th at 10: 30 a.m. at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Drive in Etobicoke. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William GULA. Willie GULA was the devoted husband of Faye (Fanny,) his wife and true love of 62 years. He was an extraordinary father and grandfather whose loss leaves an enormous void in the lives of his sons, Joel and Steven and their wives Esther and Gillian. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Michelle, Susan, Lauren and Ben, who lit up his life and gave him a never ending sense of Joy. Thanks to his nieces and nephews who made sure he knew how loved he was in his final years. Willie brought light, laughter and love beyond imagining to our lives. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Ave. W. (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Thursday, September 8 at 12: 30 p.m. Interment Court Topaz Section of Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park. Peacefully, at home and surrounded by her family, on Friday, November 4, 2005 in her 86th year. Devoted wife of the late Ken SOBLE and the late Harvey HARNICK. Loving mother of Joan SOBLE, Donna and Fred KAUFMAN, and Marlene and Michael LANDA. Very proud grandmother of Reesa WASSER, Brad and Angela KOSKIE, Korinne KOSKIE, Leslie KAUFMAN, David KAUFMAN, Ken LANDA and Susanne BOUCHER, Lenny LANDA and Rob LANDA. Devoted great-grandmother to Lee, Gillian and Alexandra. Sister and sister-in-law of Stanley and Ann LEIBEL, Queenie LEIBEL, Herta LEIBEL, Bernice DORSEN and Pearl HARNICK. Predeceased by Jack LEIBEL, Dr. Bernard (Saul) LEIBEL, Frank DORSEN, Dr. Lou HARNICK, Dorothy and Dave GOODMAN and Ida and Max GULA. Mother lived her final months as she lived her life - with courage, dignity and strength. Our family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported us through these difficult times and we are especially grateful to Caryl, Muriel and Cora for their loving care. We would also like to thank Dr. Russell GOLDMAN and the team from The Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, for their compassion and support. The funeral was held on Sunday, November 6. GULLIVER, John " Jack" Robert
Suddenly on Thursday, August 11th, 2005 after a brief illness, at Humber River Regional Hospital in his 91st year. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Doris Ellen GULLIVER, the loved and devoted father of son Glenn, daughter Dale and her husband Peter MAXWELL. He is gone but will never be forgotten. He inspired all of us with his positive outlook and love of life. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, August 13th. Suddenly, on Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Toronto East General Hospital, in his 82nd year. Predeceased by his wife Queenie (née LEE) in 1993. Dear father to sons Mark and wife Catherine, Scott, and Robert and wife Lynda. Loving Papa to Brandy, Michael, Chantal, Sarah, Sean, Spencer, Shelby, Ethan, and Alexia. Brother-in-law to Blanche (Mrs. George THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON) of Burlington, Irene LEE of Pickering, and Katie LEE of Stouffville. Predeceased by sisters Mabel and Helen, and in-laws Dave GULUCHE, Gordon BARR, Jim LEE, Henry LEE, and Ethel LEE. Survived by numerous other family members and Friends. Peacefully at the Huronia District Hospital, Midland on Monday, July 4, 2005 in his 67th year, following a courageous battle with lung cancer. Bert GULUCHE of Penetanguishene, beloved husband of Karen (née CLARK.) Dear father of Bradley and his wife Wendy, and Larry and his wife Valerie. Grandfather of Ryan, Daniel and Laura. Donald Joseph ANDERSON of London, 76 years of age passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 in the presence of his family. Dearest husband and best friend of Eunice. Loving father of Michael and Stephen of London, Thomas and his wife Elaine of St. Catharines. Dearest grandfather of Heather, Patrick and Jacqueline. Predeceased by his first wife Anne RYAN (1971) and parents John Adair and Kathleen (DWYER) ANDERSON. Dear brother of Catherine POLCI, Mary Margaret (John) MANHERZ, Robert (Elsie) ANDERSON. Loved son-in-law of Anne BRATASCHUK of Saskatoon. Dear brother-in-law of Elaine GULUTZAN of Saskatoon, Sonia (Dennis) PYLATIUK of Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, Ruth (Dan) BRACKEN of Bramlea, Ontario.
