GREENBLATT, Luke Tobias Lushington
Luke Tobias Lushington GREENBLATT, 15, of Borden Street, Toronto, drowned Wednesday, August 10, 2005, near Matagami, Quebec. Luke was the cherished son of Kate LUSHINGTON and Richard GREENBLATT, adored brother of Natasha Grace and William Pavel, beloved nephew of Lewis FUREY, Carole Laure and Mark LUSHINGTON, dear cousin of Clara, Tomas and Jake, loving grand_son to Stephen LUSHINGTON, Sonia LUSHINGTON (deceased,) John and Selma GREENBLATT (deceased,) a delight to his godparents Dorian CLARK, Nicky GUADAGNI, Joyce MASON, Monique MOJICA, Colin NAPTHINE and Djanet SEARS, and an admired and treasured friend to many extraordinary young people. Luke loved music, especially jamming with his brother and Friends. He played piano and clarinet with heart and soul, as well as alto and soprano sax and guitar. He was a drummer in the rock band Abbott. Luke was entering Grade 10 at Oakwood Collegiate. He played forward for the Parkdale Flames and Amesbury Avalanche hockey teams, pitched for the Tigers at Christie Pits and enjoyed soccer, skateboarding, boxing, chess and his dog Bella. Luke felt a deep affinity to Buddhism and philosophy and was Bar Mitzvahed on May 22, 2004 at the Beaches Hebrew Institute. Luke was a steady shining presence in our lives, his tragic accident is a wrenching loss to an entire community.

Suddenly on May 22nd, 2005, in his 56th year. Beloved son of Luigi and Pasqualina GUALDIERI, of Montreal. Very proud father of Monica, Anita, and Alex. Best friend of Sue GUALDIERI. Much loved son-in-law of Jan TALMEY and the late Bob TALMEY. Papa Joe will be fondly remembered by his sister Rose (Vincenzo DELLIFRAINE) and his sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many Friends. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Mabel A. (MILLS) a resident of St. Andrew's Residence, Chatham and formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the C.K.H.A. Public General Campus on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at the age of 87. Born in Chatham Twp., daughter of the late George and Myrtle (ALLISON) MILLS. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd B. MILLER (1992.) Mabel is survived by her nieces and nephews Marlene BAILY of Toronto, Catherine BEZAIRE, Peter MILLS both of Chatham, Joelle SARKOZY and Mona GUALTIERI both of Michigan, Grant MILLS Jr. and Gail DUNLAP both of Arizona, a sister-in-law Marion CRAWFORD of Arizona, and a great-nephew Evan BAILY of Toronto. Predeceased by her brothers Dave, Grant, Ross, and George MILLS, a sister Eleanor JOHNSTON, niece Pat BOW, and nephew Archie MILLS. Family and Friends will be received at the John C. In Waterloo, Quebec, December 27, 2005 passed away, Claire NORMANDIN- MASSÉ, wife of Hector MASSÉ of Granby.
She leaves to mourn her seven children, their spouses and their children.
Jean-Louis (Céline ROUSSEAU) of Montréal, Louise (Dr. Bernard GUAY) of Shefford, Pierre (Lisa ANDREOLI- MASSÉ) of Vancouver, Daniel (Anne POTVIN) of Québec, Lucie of Montréal, André (Nadine LACHANCE) of Baie-Comeau and Gérard (Dawna HALES- MASSÉ) of Winnipeg.
She also leaves to mourn her brother, Roger NORMANDIN, her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, their children, several other relatives and many Friends.
Her colleagues will remember her as one of the founders of the l'Association Granbyenne des Retraités Enseignants du Québec.
