GRZYWNIAK,
Stanislaw "
Stanley"
For our family, on Thursday, June 30, 2005, the music suddenly
stopped. Stan, in his 83rd year, passed away peacefully. Beloved
husband to Jean for over 55 years. Loving father to Christine
and her husband Fred
WEBSTER, and
to Ted and his wife Cathy.
Proud grandfather to Brittany and Lindsay
WEBSTER and to Grant
and Lauren
GRZYWNIAK.
Stan will be always remembered as a kind,
generous and loving gentleman. Born in Poland, Stan immigrated
to Canada in 1947 and settled in Toronto. He had a distinguished
career at the T. Eaton Company for over 40 years and retired
in 1988. His passion was music. He entertained everyone with
his voice and his drums having played in his beloved band for
45 years. Stan also loved his garden, his cottage and watching
hockey, but nothing made him happier than his family and especially
his grandchildren. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter
Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street W., at Windermere, east of the
Jane subway, on Sunday, from 6-8 p.m. and
on Monday from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. A special prayer service will be held during Monday's
visitation at 7: 00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Stanislaus
Catholic Church, 12 Denison Ave., on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at
10: 00 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations
may be made to the Copernicus Lodge Foundation or the Heart and
Stroke Foundation. Now in heaven, the beat goes on...
