GRYFE, William " Bill"
On Monday, August 8, 2005 at Baycrest Hospital. William GRYFE, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Polly (née HOFFMAN.) Loving father and father-in-law of Cyril and Arlene, Arthur and Doreen, Jack and Ellen, and Rhoda. Dear brother of the late Ida CHARENDOFF, Art, Ben and Reuben GRYFE. Devoted grandfather of Alan, Brenda, Leah, Sharon, Carrie, Robert, Steven, Andrew, Naomi and Jesse. Great-grandfather of 15. Special thanks to his devoted caregiver, Ophelia PITTER. His many Friends will remember him for his life-long dedication to promoting physical fitness and competitive weightlifting, as coach of teams in the Canada, Commonwealth, Pan-American, and Maccabean Games; as an official at the 1976 Olympics; and as a founder of the Ontario Weightlifting Association. At Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave., W., Thornhill, for service on Tuesday, August 9 at 10 a.m. Interment Beth David-Beth Am Section of Bathurst Lawn Cemetery. Shiva at 165 Lyndhurst Ave., Toronto, until Friday noon. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Polly and Bill Gryfe Family Research Endowment Fund, Baycrest Centre.

KORITTKO, Ursula Elizabeth
Peacefully, with family and Friends, Ursula passed away at home in Brampton on Thursday, July 28th, 2005 at the age of 56. Proud and devoted mother of Alexander and good friend to Sylvia FOXCROFT. Missed by Ernst, Marianna and Ulrich KORITTKO along with the rest of her family abroad. A role model for us all, Ursula faced the challenges of her illness with courage, optimism and good humour. The family would like to thank all of Ursula's Friends and colleagues at The City of Toronto and Toronto Emergency Medical Services for their support and encouragement. Thanks for all the medical support from Dr. COX, Dr. GRYFE, Dr. BURKES, Dr. DIANA, and The St. Elizabeth Nurses with special thanks to nurse Diane SCOTT. Family will receive Friends at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. South, Brampton from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, August 4th. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 90 McLaughlin Rd. S., Brampton on Saturday, August 6th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charities of special significance: The Canadian Cancer Society and The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Canada. SAMPSON/SAMSON, Jeanette Mary
After a long, hard fought battle at the age of 76 years, Jeanette passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and Friends. Beloved wife of Jeffrey, cherished mother of Janice and loving sister of Joseph and Gerald. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and dear Friends. Jeanette is predeceased by her parents Cecile and Gilbert, brothers Leo and Bert, and sisters Lillian and Zelia. Special thanks to Kimberley, Joanna, Carol, Lawrence, Jean and Sharron for always being there. To the many Friends who cared for her, Mary and Jerry especially - thank you.
