MacMILLAN, Kenneth
Mr. Kenneth MacMILLAN at the Parkwood Hospital, London, Ontario on Saturday, January 1, 2005 at the age of 88 years. (Veteran of World War 2, Royal Canadian Engineers and Irish Regiment). Beloved husband of the late Betty (GOILLON) MacMILLAN (1999.) Loved father of Shirley and Carol MacMILLAN both of London, Ontario. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William Alexander and Ellen (MacRAE) MacMILLAN, by 3 sisters Mary Ann THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (late Aden,) Evelyn May HUME, Helen May SCARBEAU and by 3 brothers Gordon Alexander MacMILLAN, Ernest David MacMILLAN and William Alexander MacMILLAN. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall from 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 4th. (Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m..) The Reverend Ruth DRAFFIN of Saint John's Presbyterian Church celebrant. Interment at a later date in Finch Community Cemetery. Finch. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12: 00 p.m. until the t ime of service.

BRADLEY, Dr. Brian
Peacefully, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer, at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care on August 13, 2005. Dr. Brian BRADLEY was born on March 14, 1929 in Sarnia. He was the son of the late John Dean and Erie (née GOING) BRADLEY. Husband of 49 years to Rita. Father to Dean (Maureen), Brian (Lyna), and Paul (Karen). Grandfather to Michele, Andrew, Justin, Patrick, Sarah, Christopher, Matthew, Megan and Grace. Brother of John (Edmonton).
Dr. BRADLEY was educated at O.L.M. Elementary School and S.C.I.T.S. He was a graduate of University of Western Ontario Medical School (1954) and the U of T. Dept. of Ophthalmology (1959). Brian came home to establish his practice in 1960 and continued serving his patients until 1995. Brian enjoyed athletics; he played varsity football and rugby in high school and remained an enthusiastic golfer and curler throughout his life. A former local President of the Ontario Medical Association, he volunteered on behalf of Amnesty International, RayJon, and Canadian Institute for the Blind. Dr. BRADLEY particularly enjoyed working among the indigenous peoples of North and Central America. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at O.L.M. Church (Christina and London Rds.) on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 10: 00 a.m. Burial will follow at O.L.M. Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 8: 30 p.m. at the funeral home. Special thanks to Dr. KHAN and all the nurses at Palliative Care. In lieu of flowers, donations to RayJon, Box 2482, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 7T1 would be appreciated (requested by Brian).
