Mr. Berry Privette ELLINGTON of Tillsonburg Retirement Centre and formerly of Wood Street East, Springford passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 21, 2005 in his 85th year. Berry, a Retired Tobacco Farmer from the Teeterville area was a member of the Springford Baptist Church and was also an avid slow-pitch baseball player for many years.
Beloved husband of the Late Ruth Ella KENNEDY (2003.) Loving father of Dennis ELLINGTON (Kathy), London, Karen REID, Tillsonburg, Patricia HOORELBEKE (Ron,) Tillsonburg and Debra FISHER (Fred) of R.R.#2 Vanessa. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer RICHMOND (Jeff,) Jeff ELLINGTON (Jamie,) Melissa REID (Bill,) Michelle REID, Sheryl WILLIAMS (Kevin), Tina LACKNER (David), Ron HOORELBEKE Jr. (Wendy), Amy FISHER, Chris FISHER and greatgrandfather of Alyssa and Dylan WILLIAMS and J.J. RICHMOND. Dear brother of Helen BELCHER (Tom), Clellie GOAD and Jim ELLINGTON. Also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-laws and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his four brothers and two sisters and many in-laws. Friends may call at the Murphy Funeral Home, Delhi for visitation on Monday from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Family Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 24th at 2: 00 p.m. with Pastor Kathryn SMITH officiating. THURSTON, Lillian Kathleen " Kay" (née GOAT)
The family announces her death on June 23, 2005 in Barrie, Ontario at the age of 94. She is survived by her sons Phil (Nancy) in Sudbury, Jon (Gloria) in Toronto, and Stephen (Diane) in Mississauga, four grandchildren, and one great-grand_son as well as her sister Betty SUGGITT in St. Albert, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband Erwin Cole THURSTON (1983) and her brother Russell. She was born and raised in Montreal and, as a young woman, became an employee of the Girl Guides of Canada in Toronto. Upon her marriage during World War 2, she moved to Cap de la Madeleine, Quebec, followed over the years by moves to Montreal, Gloucester City, New Jersey, Stratford, Ontario, Waterloo, Ontario and Barrie, Ontario. She lived a full, adventurous life raising her family of three active boys, all interested in the outdoors. She took a keen interest in the education of her children as they progressed to university. Her involvement with the Girl Guides was an important part of her life, spanning over 50 years, with involvement at the Guide company to the Provincial and National levels. So, for a mother with three sons, she also mentored many girls and young women through Guiding. A memorial service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Waterloo, Ontario, at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 18.

Brad was beginning to embark on a promising, successful business career. Brad is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines until Thursday at 9: 30 a.m. A Celebration of Brad's life will be held in St. George's Anglican Church at 10 a.m. Cremation.
