At Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, September 10th, 2005, Kazimierz "Kazimir" BURGHARDT of Woodstock in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Wladislawa "Gladys" BURGHARDT. Dear father of Alicia KAUFMAN and her husband Jack and Chris BURGHARDT, all of Woodstock, and the late Richard (1952). Loving Grandpa of Mark KAUFMAN and Joanne KAUFMAN, both of Woodstock. At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, September 11th, 2005, James "Jim" CHADWICK of Woodstock in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Veronica. Dear father of Tracy CHADWICK of London, and Colleen CHADWICK and Sean CHADWICK, both of Woodstock. Loving Papa of Nicole and Erin. Dear brother of Ron CHADWICK and his wife Elizabeth of Toronto, and brother-in-law of Frances and Patrick KILLEEN of London and remembered by their families. Also missed by his many nieces, nephews and family in Ireland. At his residence on Sunday, September 11, 2005 Philip Michael WEILER of Brock Street, Woodstock in his 58th year. Beloved father of Chad and Jason and their mother Elizabeth. Dear brother of Pete, Mary, Paul, Susan, Martha, Stan, Mark, Tim and Matthew. Also survived and sadly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and by his in-laws. Predeceased by his parents Stan and Elizabeth WEILER. Philip owned and operated Les Boys Appliances in Tillsonburg for many years, and was also involved in Tillsonburg Minor Sports. At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday September 22, 2005. Hendrikus " Hank" Martin MAAS of R.R.#2 Burgessville in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Johanna MAAS (2000.) Dear father of Theo and wife Shirley of Burgessville, Ed and wife Jane of Burgessville, Rob and wife Pam of Norwich. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Julie and husband Tom BATSON, Jody and wife Jodi MAAS, Chris, Anissa, Adam, Nikki and husband Jeremy GILLESPIE, Shannon and husband Lloyd BALSMA, Derek and Ben, great grandchildren Katelyn, Claudia, Tyrell, Reece, Logan, Brooklyn, Ethan, Kyle and Domanick. Brother of Evert and Kees MAAS, Afra STAM all of Holland, Martin and wife Dorothy of Brampton. Predeceased by brothers Piet and Frans and sister Marie. Hank was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Woodstock. Friends will be received at The Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main St. W. Norwich on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's Catholic Church 904 Dundas St. Woodstock on Monday September 26th at 10: 00 a.m. with Father Chris GEVAERT oficiating. On August 2, 2005, Gerard VAN VEGCHEL of Aileen Dr., Woodstock in his 78th year. Beloved husband, for 50 years, of Paula VAN VEGCHEL (née VERSTEEGEN.) Dear father of Carla EATON and her husband Gary of Innerkip and Tony VAN VEGCHEL and his partner Tracey MOXON of Tillsonburg. Loved grandfather of Jennifer and Matthew EATON both of Innerkip. Also survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters in Holland. Cremation had taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Gerard's life will be held at St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church, 904 Dundas Street, Woodstock on Saturday at 9: 30 a.m. with Fr. Chris GEVAERT officiating. Peter McGILLIS of Woodstock on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Patricia McGILLIS (née HANLON) for over 42 years. Loving father of Tamara and David SARGENT of Woodstock, Kelli and David LENARDUZZI of Ancaster, and Krista and James O'REILLY of St. Catharines. Treasured grandpa of Ryan and Evan; Andrew, Emily Rose, and Daniel. Dear brother of Joseph and Maureen McGILLIS of Edmonton, Allan and Curene MacGILLIS of Port Hope. Dear brother-in-law of Francis HANLON of Ingersoll, and Marie HANLON of London. Predeceased by his father Donald (1946), mother Marie (1984), and sister Janet (2005). Peter joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1949, graduated from Toronto Teacher's College in 1956, and earned his B.A. from the University of Waterloo in 1975. His teaching career of 33 years was mainly in the Oxford County Catholic Schools. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish, the Knights of Columbus, and the Retired Teachers of Ontario. Dear brother of Filomena VANDENBROCK, Maria SAMMEN, Alida VERLOOY, all of Belgium and the late Celina GEVAERTS, Frans PEETERS, and Alfons PEETERS and brother-in-law of Joseph NITOR and Alfons NITOR both in Belgium, and the late Julius NITOR and Julia VANROOST.
