Dear father of Sharon VIVIAN and her husband Glynn of Fort Erie and Helen FRIEND and her husband Andrew of Calhoun, Georgia. Loved grandfather of Mark SEARS; Monique (Rich) HOOYENGA and Rhonda WILTON and great-grandfather of Jordan BROUILLARD and Matthew HOOYENGA. Dear brother of Winnifred RUSH of Tillsonburg, Norman of Clifford, and Jean GLENCROSS of Lachine, Quebec. Lloyd served in World War 2 with the Algonquin Regiment and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55, Woodstock. He was also a member of the Mercer Wilson Masonic Lodge #678 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite, Rose Croix, Moore Sovereign Consistory, Mocha Temple Shrine Club and Eastern Star. Garnet "Ross" of Saint Thomas, on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Audrey (GEE) IRWIN and dearly loved father of Debra "Deb" VOSBOURGH of Woodstock and Ruth and her husband Bill WARREN of Saint Thomas. Predeceased by a daughter Louise IRWIN and by a sister Dorene McKENZIE. Much loved grandfather of Debbie and Jason HOMAN, Bill WARREN, Becky and Tyler BRADSHAW and great grandfather of Ashton James BRADSHAW. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Ross was born in Toronto, on November 2, 1922, the son of the late Cecil WELLINGTON and Lorene IRWIN. He lived most of his life in Saint Thomas and worked over 25 years at Timken and then worked at Thermodisc. He served overseas in the Army during World War 2 and was an avid golfer. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the charity of choice.

Dear father of Linda AMICHAND (Ken), Guelph; Marilyn COOK (David), Beachville; Karen KARN (David), Woodstock; Terry DALE (Susan,) Woodstock; and Alan DALE, Curries. Cherished grandfather of Shane and Leanne AMICHAND; Kimberly and Danielle COOK; Jonathan, Jessica and Meghan KARN; Brittany and Caitlyn DALE; and Olivia DALE. Art farmed all of his life and was actively involved in many agricultural organizations. He was a chartered member of the East Oxford-Oxford Centre Optimist Club. Art retired from Canada Trust (Canada Permanent Trust) after more than 30 years. In his 57th year, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 9, 2005, in Sudbury. Currently residing in Kirkland Lake, formerly of Ponty Pool and Toronto. Dan was an avid hockey player, barefoot skier, karate champ, wrestler and trampoline expert. He was a collector of coins, stamps and baseball cards and had recently started working with disabled people. He was a certified carpenter and worked for 28 years at Ontario Hydro's nuclear power developments. son of William and the late Irene SAMLER (READ,) he will be sorely missed by his children Chrissy and Nicky (mother Karin SAMLER) and Brandon (mother Jill GEEN.) His memory will also be cherished by his beloved sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Neil LLOYD and their children Deana and Danielle and their families, who lovingly cared for him till the end.
