GREEN,
David
Campbell
Passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2005, age 80 after a long
illness, bravely borne. Much loved husband and best friend of
Jean.
Father of Nita (Paul
TOLLEY) and Mark (deceased 2001)
grandfather of Coral (David), Angie (Iain) and Alec and Matthew
GREEN.
Also sadly missed by his step-children Judy
STUPAR and
John, Jill and Bruce
PRATT,
Andy and Debbie
QUICK, eight grandchildren
Beth, Henry, Matthew, Erin, Ryan, Sean, Cindy and Jennifer -
the only Granpa they ever knew; and four great-grandchildren
Scott, Samantha, Brooklin and Mason. David came to Canada in
1957, but always remained a proud Bristolian. An avid amateur
radio operator, call sign VE3
FYB (Fine Young Boy!,) he loved
music, singing in his church choir, and after retirement from
Oshawa General Hospital in 1989 and as a Snowbird enlivened the
Barber Shop singers and many others at Noah's Ark in Panama City
Beach, Florida. He was a faithful member of St. Paul's-on-the-Hill,
882 Kingston Road, Pickering, Ontario, where a celebration service
will be held Wednesday, March 23rd at 11 a.m. Donations in lieu
of flowers to Ontario Lung Association or the Hospital for Sick
Children would be much appreciated and a joy to him. Now at Peace
and rejoicing in the presence of his Lord.
