Peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Saturday, December 3, 2005. Phyllis PLANT (née WHITE/WHYTE) of Owen Sound in her 88th year. Wife of the late Archie PLANT. Dear mother of Dale of Orillia, Gordon and his wife Margaret of Australia, Carolyn SCOTT of Cambridge and Glenda and her husband Jim JACKSON of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters Laurel TIPPIN, Alice MORSE and Merrilyn FLYNN and a brother Clarke WHITE/WHYTE. She was a dear friend to her neighbours. Predeceased by her parents Allen and Myrtle WHITE/WHYTE and a sister Doris PLANT. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home (519-376-3710) for visiting on Tuesday from 12 Noon until service time. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday afternoon December 6th, at 2 o'clock with Reverend Charles JACKSON officiating. It is with deep sadness that we announce that Mitch suddenly passed away on May 6, 2005. He was 31 years of age. Born in Kingston, Mitch attended Frontenac Secondary School and was a graduate of McGill University (B.A. 1997) and the Schulich School of Business at York University (M.B.A. 2000). His greatest passion in life was Ali O'SULLIVAN, whom he loved very much and with whom he shared his life. He is deeply missed by his immediate family, father and mother, Geoff and Chris FLYNN, sister Debbie, brother Andy, sister-in-law Audrey, brother-in-law Phil, and by Ali's family, Judy and Barry, Laura and Jerome. Mitch was a loving uncle to Kate, Charlotte, Aidan, Zachary, Spencer and Patrick and will be fondly remembered by aunt Margaret of Bridgend, Wales. Mitch was a sensitive, gifted and caring person. He touched the lives of many at Kuehne and Nagel where he worked and among his very large circle of Friends in Kingston and Toronto. He had a tremendous passion for golf and was a skilled hockey player. He is remembered by all who knew him as a gentle, loving person who could simply not bring himself to speak ill of anyone. He will be missed more than words can express. Mitch is resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). Visitations are scheduled from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 followed by a celebration of his life on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 1: 30 p.m. in the James Reid Cataraqui Chapel. Survived by his sister Theresia McCAFFREY, and by his sisters-in-law Bea McGURK, Joan GALLAGHER, Esther OLMOND, Jean DRAKE, Ann SUTTON, and Helen SPIERENBURG, and brothers-in-law Dan OLMOND and Dan GALLAGHER. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Frank retired from the Otis Elevator Co. with 35 years of service, which included production of Bofur guns during the war. He served many years on the Board of Directors of Hamilton Community Credit Union, and also on the Board of the Victoria Curling Club to which he was granted a lifetime membership. He was also a faithful usher at St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the staff at Queen's Garden for their loving care. The family will receive Friends at the P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 7 East Avenue South, Hamilton, (905-572-7900) on Monday, August 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church, (Hughson Ave., South at Augusta), Hamilton, on Tuesday, August 16 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
