Born in Zaliszczykij, Ukraine on March 9, 1927, passed away after
a lengthy illness at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre on April
11, 2005. Forever loved and missed by her children, Andrew, Martha,
Anna, son-in-law Mike, grandchild Lisa, brother Jura and family,
sister-in-law Marie-Therese and family. Her devotion to and support
of her family, her wisdom and gentle guidance, her love of beauty
in art, literature and music will always be remembered. The family
would like to thank the staff at both the St. Demetrius Residence
and at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre for their excellent
care and support as Maria's health declined. After cremation,
a memorial service was held in the U.C.C.C. Chapel on April 15.
