FEE, Frances " Shell" Viona (née BROWNSELL)
Passed away peacefully at The Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, British Columbia on December 2, 2005 at the age of 77. She will be greatly missed by her family; daughters, Frances J. FEE and Susan L. FEE- SCHIEMAN, grand_sons Gareth and Finlay SCHIEMAN, siblings Ray, Paul and Elaine BROWNSELL. She was predeceased by her husband Clayton H. FEE, her son John A. FEE and her brother Craig BROWNSELL. Shell was born in Trent River on December 25, 1927. She trained to become a nurse at the Peterborough Civic Hospital and worked in places as far flung as Brazil and Bermuda. She settled down in London, Ontario where she raised her family until charging back to work in her fifties. Never one to slow down she worked until she was seventy. After she retired she moved to Victoria, British Columbia to live with her daughter, Frances. Her last years were spent thrilling to the adventures of her beloved grand_sons and puttering in her garden. Her wit and energy will be missed by all. A Service of Remembrance will be held on December 10, 2005, at 10: 30 a.m. at The Mount Pleasant Cemetery Chapel, 303 Riverside Dr., London, Ontario. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

MATHESON, Wilhillmine Nevett
Born in Glasgow at 6 am April 2, 1914 died at 7 pm on Monday February 7, 2005. She was the last surviving child of Charles Joseph Keith MATHESON and Isa Keith ROSS and at the age of 90 lived the longest of her four brothers; Charles, John, William and Norman and her two sisters Gladys SCLATER and Phyllis MEREDITH. They▼ are survived by Bud MEREDITH, Mary MATHESON and Lucienne MATHESON, the spouses of Phyllis, Billy, and Norm.
Her nieces, Joan GUTZEIT, Marsha GREENBAUM, Barbara WARREN, Pamela HARRISON, Lynda FEENAN, Nikki MATHESON, and Janice MATHESON and nephews Robbie MEREDITH, Ian MATHESON and Bryan MATHESON all have fond memories of her visits. Whether dancing, singing or telling stories, our Auntie Winnie always made each of us feel unique in this world. We will all miss that special quality.
Sadly she lost three young people she was especially close to Lynda's husband Mike OSTROWSKI who died at 44, her nephew Scot MATHESON, Billy's son who died at 38 and nephew Donald MATHESON, Charlie's son who died at 28.
Her oldest brother Charlie (age 19) arrived in Toronto, Canada in the fall of 1928 and was followed by their parents and Gladys (17), John (16), Winnie (14), Phyllis (11), Billy (8) and Norm (6). Winnie started working shortly after she arrived and a year later was employed by General Electric Canada where she worked for 50 years. Quite an achievement, fifty years with one company! She was well liked there and respected for the good job she did in the accounting department. They didn't want her to leave and she agreed to stay for a few months after her 65th birthday.
In her retirement years she enjoyed living in Dunedin, Florida in the winter months and in Toronto at 33 Rosehill Ave. for the remainder of the year. When her health failed she moved to the Laughlin Centre which she enjoyed. With a twinkle in her eye, she remarked that they kept her so busy she might as well be working. She loved the people, companionship, the games and the outings. Later she moved to Belmont House. Her nieces Janice and Marsha who spent time with her during her last two days were impressed by how well she was liked and cared for there during her final days.
A private burial will be held. At a later date this spring, the family has planned a reception to celebrate the lives of Winnie and her brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.

Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, January 31, 2005. Patrick BOYLE, in his 77th year, was the beloved husband of Kathleen (FEENAN) BOYLE of Guelph. He was the loving father of Gretta and her husband Gary KILPATRICK of Kitchener, Anne and her husband Bill SCOTT of Guelph, Michael BOYLE and his wife Brenda of Guelph, Helen and her husband Robert SABGA of Ottawa, Peter BOYLE of Burlington, Karen and her husband John OSTROM of Mississauga, and Charlene and her husband Steve BRADY of Guelph. Patrick was the proud grandfather of Kelly-Ann, Ann Marie, Jennifer, Christina, Stephanie, Shane, Matthew, Rudy, Natasha, Justine, Donovan, John, Kyle, Brittany, Nolan, Magen and Brianne. He was the dear brother of John, Tony, Thomas, Kathleen, Maureen, Betty, and Phyllis. Patrick is survived by many nieces and nephews. Affectionately known as Baba to his grandchildren Deborah ADAM/ADAMS (Bruce,) Scott MEREDITH (Christina,) Daphne FREILL (Peter.) Cherished great-grandfather to Meredith, Paige, Chase, Sydney and Morgan. Loving brother to Lloyd MEREDITH (Ann) and predeceased by his brother Charles MEREDITH (Phyllis.) Peacefully, on Thursday, June 9, 2005, a long time resident of Mt. Carmel, Ontario, more recently of Chateau Gardens, Parkhill, passed away at Strathroy Middlesex Hospital, at the age of 89. Survived by his wife, of over 50 years, Edythe CALLAHAN- MCINNES/MCINNIS. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Ann and her husband Clive TONGE, Strathroy and son Paul and his wife Shelley MCINNES/MCINNIS of Mt. Carmel, brother Lawrence J. MCINNES/MCINNIS, sisters-in-law Margaret CALLAHAN, Sarnia and Beatrice CALLAHAN, Teeswater. He will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and Friends. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Margaret (FEENEY) MCINNES/MCINNIS brothers, Joseph A. (1967) and John Paul (1999); sisters, Elizabeth (1923) and Jeanne (1978).
Jack was born August 19, 1915 in London, Ontario where he grew up. After graduating De La Salle High School, he worked for The London Advertiser, Coca Cola Ltd. and Quinn Lumber. He and Edythe moved to Grand Bend, they owned and operated the Imperial Hotel for many years, where he was known by many as "Mr. Jack". During his life, construction was important to him. He moved, redesigned and built many homes. For a few years, he worked for the County of Bosanquet as a building inspector. Baseball was his lifetime passion. As a boy, he rode the baggage car with his father to see his beloved Detroit Tigers play ball. As a young man, he hitchhiked from Lambeth to get to the World Series in Detroit. If there was a game on the radio, it was playing in the car. In later years, he enjoyed horse racing. For years he and Edythe would pack up the car and go to Louisville on the first weekend of May to attend The Kentucky Derby. Many will remember him for his twinkling eyes and broad smile when entertaining Friends and family or driving his '68 Thunderbird; his endearing laugh and a heart of gold. This gentleman and soldier left us as he lived, quietly, with pride and dignity at Parkwood Hospital on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2005, in his 85th year. "Ted" is predeceased by his parents George Alfred ROE (Evelyn Alice) of Victoria, British Columbia, his brother Dr. John A. ROE (Kae) also of Victoria, British Columbia his loving wife of fifty years - Eleanor "June" ROE (1992,) 2nd wife Dorothy FEENEY (2003.) He is survived by daughter Sheila LENAERTS (George▲) with their four children Benjamin VARTY, Michael VARTY, Tara CRAIG (Pete) and Georgina PERCIVAL (Michael).
