Gary was born on January 1, 1942 in Bracebridge

BEATTY. He was predeceased
by his older brother Wayne. When Gary wasn't 'keeping Muskoka
warm,' he fully enjoyed many hobbies and passions ranging from
jazz, flying, off-road performance rallying, vintage motor bikes,
and sailing. He spent as much time as possible at the family
cottage on Lake Muskoka, and in later years travelling to Mexico
and Cuba. He will be remembered for his uncompromising loyalty
to his Friends and family, his eagerness to take a risk, his
quick intelligence and ready sense of fun, his integrity and
empathy, and his active demonstration of how to live life well
and passionately. Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral
Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Friday, February 25th
from 7-9 p.m. and
on Saturday, February 26th from 1-3 p.m. The
memorial service will be at 3 p.m. in the Reynolds Chapel, followed
by a reception at Saint Thomas Anglican Church Browning Hall. According
to Gary's wishes, a celebration of his life will take place dockside
sometime during the summer. In lieu of flowers, the family would
appreciate donations to the Ontario Special Olympics.

Betty lived her life in Galt (Cambridge) and was a lifelong member
of Central Presbyterian Church. She took an active role in the
social and volunteer life of the community serving on the board
of the Young Women's Christian Association, chairperson of the
United Way and was an honorary member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Betty was well known and loved for her smile, enjoyment of others
and for sharing her enthusiam of life with family and Friends.
The family will always cherish memories of times at her cottage
on Georgian Bay where she also had a wonderful circle of Friends.
Heartfelt thanks go to all the people who cared for Betty. Funeral
service will be held at Central Presbyterian Church (Galt) on
Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at
the Galt Country Club from 3-5. No flowers. As expressions of
