Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Tuesday, February 1st, 2005, Alexander "Alex" TOTHFALUSI, of Mt. Brydges, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of 47 years to Elizabeth Marie (née BRAUN.) Dear father of Alexander of Strathroy and Katharine (Anthony) PEPE of Komoka. Loved grandfather of Kristina and Nicole PEPE. Survived by sisters Emily (Daniel) FAW of Lambeth, Isabelle (Steve) ANGYAL of Strathroy and Mary (Nick) BRAUNSCH of London. Also survived by mother and father-in-law Anna and Steve BRAUN of London, brothers-in-law Steve (Edith) BRAUN, Joe (Diane) BRAUN, all of London, and sister-in-law Elvera DYMUS of London. Will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces and cousins, as well as numerous relatives in Hungary and Germany.
Alex has lived and been an active member in the Mt. Brydges area for 53 years. He was a member of the North Caradoc - St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, the Hungarian Service Community and was a 44 year member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Friends may call at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mt. Brydges, on Thursday, February 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to follow from the funeral home on Friday commencing at 2 p.m. with Reverend Kathy FRASER officiating assisted by Reverend Ferenc SZATMARI. Great dad to John and Karen and wonderful grandpa to Paul, Jeff, Amy and Joseph. Special father-in-law to Shirley and Alan. Also survived by a sister Luella and predeceased by a brother Lloyd.
Bill was born on the family farm near Saint Marys and had a career that spanned over six decades and ranged in nature from operating a drug store to being the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Trust Company, and later chairman of the Ontario Pension Board. His contributions to public life were extensive. Bill was the Past Mayor of Saint Marys, Past Chairman of the Stratford Shakespearean Festival, Past Chairman of Fundraising for the Liberal Party of Ontario and of Canada, Past Chancellor of the University of Windsor and Honorary Chancellor for Life of Assumption University. Bill's dedication to his family, Friends, community and business colleagues led him to being the recipient of two Honorary Doctorates of Laws and the Order of Ontario. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. On April 19, 2005. Beloved husband of Margot. Cherished father Cynthia (Toronto), Janine (Toronto), Craig and daughter-in-law Cheryl (Chestermere, Alberta), Jay and daughter-in-law Jenn (Jasper, Alberta). Loving Grandpa to Alexandria, Harrison, Mitchell, Bentley and week-old twins, Dexter and Donovan. Dear brother of Ron, brother-in-law of Barbara FAWCETT (Toronto) and Nancy RUPNIK (Deux Montagnes, Québec), and uncle of four nieces and two nephews. Sadly missed by his stepmother, Leola FAWCETT (Collingwood.) Predeceased by his loving parents, Evelyn and Herb FAWCETT. Honesty and integrity were the values that guided Jim's life. He was committed to maintaining the high standards of the profession of dentistry through his involvement with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, the licensing body for Ontario dentists, and every day in his 40 years as a practising dentist. He enthusiastically participated for many years as a member of Lindsay Town Council, Lindsay Board of Parks Management, Lindsay Police Services Board, and many other volunteer activities. Fondly remembered by his former colleagues, patients and staff. He was also known for his great meals and warm hospitality, and leaves many Friends who shared his passions for skiing, tennis, cottage life, and lively discussions. Special thanks to our supportive Friends and the caring healthcare providers in Toronto, Dr. Carol SWALLOW, Dr. Lois LANGLOIS and the staff on 14th Floor North, Mount Sinai Hospital, Dr. David HEDLEY and Dr. B. GRAHAM, Frederick Alexander
Peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 13th, 2005, in his 85th year. Surrounded in love by his wife Helen (DALY,) daughters Jennifer and her husband George WALHOUT of Bowmanville, Dalyse and her husband Wayne SOBOL, Andrea and her husband Terry SHARP, Lisa and her husband Steve ALEXANDER, all of Milton, Melanie and her husband Dave FAWCETT of Stouffville and son Derek and his wife Karen MILNE of Calgary. Predeceased by an infant daughter in 1965. Cherished Papa of Shawn, Erin, Julie, Rebecca, Matthew, Andrew, Heather, Graham, Bradley, Emily, Olivia and Garret. Beloved brother of Margaret GRASSI of Calgary and Marion BAKER of Listowel. Predeceased by brothers Murray and Jack. Brother-in-law to Nita DALY of Guelph. Fred was born in Elma Township on April 11th, 1921, the son of George GRAHAM and Annie COLE. In 1939, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and following flight school in Toronto, he was commissioned as a Pilot Officer. He was stationed in Trenton, Ontario where he was assigned as aircraft mechanic for the Howard Aircraft. Thus began a life long love of airplanes. Fred married Helen DALY in 1951 and together they built a home in Rexdale where they raised 6 children. In 1956 he started his own electrical contracting business Mayo Electric. Years later, he founded Falstaff Electric, a family company that continues to prosper today. In 1978 Fred began building a Zenith aircraft and in 1982 experienced the thrill of his maiden flight. He was a longtime member of the E.A.A., Chapter 41 at the Brampton Flying Club where he shared his love of flight with many Friends. With fierce determination and tenacity, Fred met all of life's obstacles with a quick wit and unique sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by the many people whose lives he touched. MOSS, Norman Clifford
With thanksgiving for a life well lived, Cliff MOSS passed into the presence of his Lord, in his 89th year on Tuesday, October 18, 2005. Cliff will be missed by his loving wife Bertha, and his children Vi (Paul) FAWCETT, Ray (Pat) MOSS and Lynda GARLAND 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and a host of Friends. Cliff was predeceased by Isobel, his beloved wife of 56 years and his 3 brothers, Bill, Bruce and Gord. Cliff was well known in the Markham area as a proprietor of B and M Motors, President of Unionville Kiwanis Club and founder of the V.I.P. (Visually Important People) at Heritage Centre. Cliff touched and inspired many with his generosity and good humour. He was a fundraiser for the inception of the Markham/Stouffville Hospital and for the Salvation Army, and a volunteer for Participation House. The family will receive Friends at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christian Blind Mission (Box 800, Stouffville, Ontario L4A 7Z9) or Participation House (9 Butternut Lane, Markham, Ontario L3P 3M1) would be appreciated.

Passed away peacefully ending his brave battle with cancer, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday, December 6th, 2005. Walter of Churchill, Ontario, was 61 years of age. Survived by his wife Marita (VAN ALEBEEK,) children Stephen (Kristi) and Nikki (Jon) FAWCETT, and grand_son MacGregor. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers Bill (Karen) and Tom (Brenda), and his many nieces, nephews, and Friends. At Walter's request, cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be held in Magnetawan where he had many fond memories. Donations to The Canadian Cancer Society (re: transportation) would be appreciated by family.

Much loved grandmother of Michael ABERDEIN and Suzanne of Brampton, Paul ABERDEIN and Debbie of Williamsford and great grandmother of Kevin, Samantha and Brodie ABERDEIN. She will be loved and remembered by her sisters Geraldine WARDMAN of Toronto and Lois FAWCETT of Kimberley.
