Shakespearean Festival, Past Chairman of Fundraising for the
Liberal Party of Ontario and
of Canada, Past Chancellor of the
University of Windsor and Honorary Chancellor for Life of Assumption
University. Bill's dedication to his family, Friends, community
and business colleagues led him to being the recipient of two
Honorary Doctorates of Laws and the Order of Ontario. Friends

and many other volunteer activities. Fondly remembered by his

1921, the son of George

COLE. In 1939, he joined
the Royal Canadian Air Force and following flight school in Toronto,
he was commissioned as a Pilot Officer. He was stationed in Trenton,
Ontario where he was assigned as aircraft mechanic for the Howard
Aircraft. Thus began a life long love of airplanes. Fred married
Helen DALY in 1951 and together they built a home in Rexdale
where they raised 6 children. In 1956 he started his own electrical
contracting business Mayo Electric. Years later, he founded Falstaff
Electric, a family company that continues to prosper today. In
1978 Fred began building a Zenith aircraft and in 1982 experienced
the thrill of his maiden flight. He was a longtime member of
the E.A.A., Chapter 41 at the Brampton Flying Club where he shared
his love of flight with many Friends. With fierce determination
and tenacity, Fred met all of life's obstacles with a quick wit
and unique sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by the many

With thanksgiving for a life well lived, Cliff
MOSS passed into
the presence of his Lord, in his 89th year on Tuesday, October
18, 2005. Cliff will be missed by his loving wife Bertha, and
his children Vi (Paul)

6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and a host of Friends.
Cliff was predeceased by Isobel, his beloved wife of 56 years
and his 3 brothers, Bill, Bruce and Gord. Cliff was well known
in the Markham area as a proprietor of B and M Motors, President
of Unionville Kiwanis Club and founder of the V.I.P. (Visually
Important People) at Heritage Centre. Cliff touched and inspired
many with his generosity and good humour. He was a fundraiser
for the inception of the Markham/Stouffville Hospital and for
the Salvation Army, and a volunteer for Participation House.
The family will receive Friends at the Dixon-Garland Funeral
Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Wednesday from
7-9 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday
at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christian
Blind Mission (Box 800, Stouffville, Ontario L4A 7Z9) or Participation
House (9 Butternut Lane, Markham, Ontario L3P 3M1) would be appreciated.

Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday, December
6th, 2005. Walter of Churchill, Ontario, was 61 years of age.
