VEREECKE, age 89, passed away
peacefully at Chelsey Park, London, Ontario. Born in Raevels,
Belgium, July 22, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Franciscus
and Maria VAN
OPSTAL.
Predeceased by her husband Albert, September
15, 1996, her daughter Christine, January 16, 1953, her sisters
Martha VAN
EYK, and Bertha
VERCAMMEN and brother Joseph
VAN
OPSTAL,
all from Belgium. She was the last surviving member of her family.

The funeral service will be held at the Westview
Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Friday, August
5th, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the
service. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Those wishing to
make a donation in memory of Rosa are asked to consider the Heart
and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of London and
Middlesex.

On Thursday, August 18, 2005. After a courageous battle with
cancer. Theodorus (Ted)
VAN
EYK of Strathroy in his 73rd year.
Ted was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1952.
He farmed in Lambton County until retirement in 1976. He will
be missed by his children John and Mary Elizabeth

KENNES. Ted is survived
by 7 brothers and sisters in the Netherlands and brothers Bill
in Watford and Harry in British Columbia and many nieces and
nephews. Ted is predeceased by a grand_son Eric

brother Matthew and sister Nellie in the Netherlands. Ted was
very thankful to be able to stay at home in his final days through
help of his special friend Evelyn

Visitation▼ will be
held at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe Street West,
Strathroy, on Friday, August 19th from 6-9 p.m. Parish prayers
will be said at 5: 45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held
at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Front Street East, Strathroy
on Saturday, August 20th at 11 a.m. Father John
SHARP officiating.
Private family interment at All Saints Cemetery to follow. Donations
to Scwachman Diamond Syndrome would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Ted.
